More Pictures

I took these pictures yesterday and yes I take pictures everyday. I love the look on Brooke's face. Presley looks like she is learning cheerleading moves early.
In four weeks I have lost a total of 10 pounds. I can really tell in some of my clothes, that is always a great motivator to keep at it. I have a dental appointment tomorrow so I feel that will be a little break. Peace and quiet on the drive there. It takes me about 45 minutes, I use to work for this dentist so the drive is worth it. Next weekend is the scrapbook retreat so I am cutting this post short so I can get things ready for the retreat. Have a wonderful evening.

Pulling Up

Look at my little Brookie, she is pulling up onto everything and I mean everything. She is becoming a little booger. She is my strong-willed child. I am already saying to myself, "pick your battles." She pushes and kicks Presley and she just lets her do it until she has had enough then little Presley cries. They will take toys away from each other over and over again, it is cute to watch until one of them gets mad. They are finally over their sickness, yea! But one good thing came out of the colds, Presley doesn't want her pacifier anymore. One down and one to go. Brooke still loves her pacifier only when she is sleepy. I am going to work on getting rid of it slowly. This is a hard time right now. They are starting to cry at the same time or one gets jealous of the other and they both are everywhere. Brooke is a fast crawler now, that girl can move and Presley is right behind her. Bumps and bruises are a regular happening in our house and along with those, comes cries and more cries. So needless to say I am pretty busy right now and I hope I can keep blogging during this time. I know, it too will pass and things will get better. Wow! I sound like I am whining a bit. Okay on a much happier note, I love those two little girls and wouldn't trade them for the world. We did have a great time at Gymboree this morning. We had another set of twins(boys) in class today.
They were 7 months and so cute. Brooke and Presley really have come into their own in that class. They were both all over the place, laughing and talking to other babies. It is so fun to watch all of the babies interact. Thank you God for my little blessings times two.
Have a wonderful Sunday!

Sketch for Poetic Artistry

I made this card for a sketch challenge for Poetic Artistry.
I have had this stamp and wanting to ink it up, this is the perfect stamp for this sketch. Plus I need to start thinking of my Christmas cards. I am going on a retreat Sept 7,8, and 9 and will be doing my Christmas cards. Thanks Julee for the sketch!

Paper~Wild Wasabi, Real Red, Soft Sky, Shimmery White, and the PP is Basic Grey Fruitcake-Stained Glass
Ink~Black Staz On
I used water color pencils to color in the image and liquid applique for santa's beard and mustache.
Stamp~Stampington & Company-Santa Collage (C8424)
I paper pierced on Real Red paper in the corners of the paper.
I lightly colored Santa's face but you cannot see it in the photo.
The ribbon is from Michaels. Happy Stamping!

Daddy

I loved this picture because of Brooke's little arm on her daddy's leg. She crawled up to her daddy and set right next to him with her arm on his leg.
She is definitely a daddy's girl. Sorry I haven't posted much this week but daddy was out of town this week and got back last night. I don't have as much time when daddy is gone and I am usually too tired to post at night. The girls were so happy to see their daddy. Brooke is pulling herself up to a standing position onto the ottoman. She will be walking before too long. Presley is a little lazy. She just likes to sit and play. She does do the cutest thing. She will look at you and smile and then turn and tilt her head to the side as if she is trying to see you on her side. It cracks me up, I need to get a photo of that position. I haven't done any stamping this week but I hope to get in some stamping time this weekend. Happy Day!

Birthday Card

Here is the birthday card I made for Joni. Of course I couldn't post it until I gave it to her.
I used Chocolate Chip for the card base and Wild Wasabi. The rest of the paper is Basic Grey Infuse. I stamped the butterfly on shimmery white cardstock with Wild Wasabi twice, I cut one butterfly out and the second I only cut out the wings out. I then attached the wings to the first butterfly so it looked like the butterfly was fluttering. I used the new scallop punch as well as the 1 3/8 punch. The sentiment is a stamp I bought at LSS (Recollections) stamped with Chocolate Chip. I used the Antique Brass Hardware from Stampin UP. The ribbon I bought at Michaels in the $1 bin. I also used the stitches set from Paper Salon to stamp down the side of the card. I really like how this card turned out.

Holding On

Isn't this the cutest picture. They are holding their bottle now. I couldn't resist this photo opportunity. I am so excited my MIL is coming over tomorrow so that I could get out and run some errands. Yahoo! I am going to have some time to myself. Hmmm, haven't had that in a while. I think I will go get a massage tomorrow. Oh I am drooling just thinking about it.
Happy Birthday to Teri Cerroni. I didn't realize it was your birthday also. I hope you had a wonderful birthday. I am counting the days til we go on the scrapbook retreat.

Happy Birthday Joni

The girls and I want to wish you a Happy Happy Birthday. They enjoyed your visit yesterday.
They also had a visit from aunt Kellie and she brought them the cutest little dolls that when you push the belly it has the cutest baby laugh.
There is nothing better than hearing laughter from a child. Presley got her first bump on her head yesterday and I know she will have many more but the bump was right in front and you couldn't miss it because it was really big. The girls still have runny noses, will the faucet ever stop. I am still praying for healing for their little souls. Have a great day.

Too Cute

These were Brooke and Preley's little party outfits. I was going to take them back but they were way too cute, I had to keep them and then of course take a photo. They still have runny noses but their little rash seems to be better. They have been a little fussy this morning. I hope they are good for daddy because I am going to a Birthday/Stamping Class today. I am excited to get away for a couple of hours. It will be a fun day and for those of you who are going, the project is so CUTE. I went over last night to help Joni cut paper for the class today. She wasn't going to show me the book but I knew once I got there she wouldn't be able to resist and of course she showed me. Sharon once again you outdid yourself. Joni, thanks for doing such a fun thing for your birthday and including me. I am a little tired from staying up so late last night but once I get out my adrenaline will kick in as always. I must go to attend to my children, they are waking up from their morning nap. I feel I should help my husband until I have to leave. Have a great day!

Friendly Visit

The girls are still sick. I took Presley back to the doctor today because she doesn't seem to be getting better. He switched medicine and gave me a cream for the rashes on both the girls faces.
Today was a trying day because for the first time both girls were fussy and crying at the same time. I would console one and the other one would start. At that point I thought this is why people say motherhood is the hardest job ever. I was definitely in agreement at that moment. I did get some relief because Grandma came over and I was so glad to see her face. My poor babies, I am ready for them to be back to themselves. Pray for healing for my little ones.
We also had some other visitors, Jenson,Erin and Jill came over to see the girls. Brooke and Presley really enjoyed seeing their friends. I would have to say it was helpful because it gave Grandma and I, a much, needed break. Thanks to Erin and Jensen for playing with the girls. I am so glad this day is over they were real boogers today. I hope tomorrow is better. I am somewhat sad because Brooke and Presley were invited to a Birthday Party (their first party) and they can't go because they are sick. We'll have to have a play date and give Kenzie her present. Happy Birthday Kenzie! Well off to bed to read and RELAX!

The Window

Brooke and Presley love to look out the window at their furry friend Bailey. I love taking pictures of little ones from behind. They look so into what they are doing. The girls still have their runny noses and now have a rash on their face from rubbing their little noses. Brooke is pulling up onto her knees and trying to reach things. She also doesn't hesitate to kick or push her sister if she wants something from her. I tell her daddy that she is going to be my child that challenges me. She also has started wanting to be picked up more and if we walk by and don't pick her up she cries, a screaming cry. Presley still likes to sit and play. She can entertain herself quite well. But she has been wanting to be held and rocked before she goes to bed. I usually would put them down for bed and start their little bedtime music and mobiles and they would play awhile and then fall asleep. I think she needs a little more TLC since she is a little sickly. They both are still just as sweet as can be and are still such blessings in my life. I am searching for a Mother's Day Out Program. I think it will be great for them to be around other children and great for mom to get some things done.
Thanks for visiting.

Sick Babies

This is a bad week. We are all sick with a cold. Brooke and Presley both have runny noses and can't breathe. Poor babies. I am hoping they are better my the end of the week. We had plans on Friday and Saturday, if they are not better we will have to stay at home. I think they are tired of seeing their mother they need a new face to play with.
I do have some news, I have lost another 2 pounds so a total of 6 pounds. Yahoo! I am determined to stick with this diet so I can lose this baby weight. I have to get back into my clothes. I am tired of wearing the same clothes all the time but I am not buying a biggeer size.
Oh well enough of my whining. Bye for now.

Garden Whimsy

I finally got to stamp last night and made this card. I just had to use my new stamp set Garden Whimsy. I loved this set the minute I saw it in the new catalog. My card base is Blue Bayou stamped with Fine Lace in Blue Bayou. I also used Soft Sky, Purely Pomegranate, and Whisper White. The butterfly is from Garden Whimsy. I stamped the butterfly on Whisper White twice and then cut the wings out and attached them to the other butterfly so it looks like the butterfly is fluttering it's wings. I used my new Mat Pack from Stampin Up to do the paper piercing (love it). I also used Antique Brass hardware. The little flower is from Priceless. I finished the card off with stickles on the butterfly and the flower. The ribbon is Purely Pomegranate from Stampin Up. I love these colors together. Have a great week.

So Sorry

I haven't been able to post a new picture of the girls or had the time to stamp.
I am hoping to do something tonight or tomorrow night. My stamping time is usually at night after I put the girls to bed but I have been too tired to do anything. They are both crawling everywhere and I think it is wearing me out. I am sorry for being MIA for the last couple of days. I hope to be more on top of it this week.

Playing Nice

We had a busy day today. Grandma came over and we went to lunch and then went shopping. I bought the cutest stuff for the girls of course it is for next year being that everything is on sale. We got some great deals. We came home and the girls were so cute they were playing so nice with each other. Presley has started screaming now but it seems Brooke has stopped with her screaming. They were laughing and chasing each other and talking back and forth. It was the sweetest thing to witness. We then went swimming and the girls just had a ball. Oh, and this was the other outfit that Gary and I bought when we knew we were having girls. I am so glad I have these little darling girls. When I found out I was pregnant I really wanted two boys because I knew Gary wanted boys but I can't imagine my life without these little angels. I have to tell you the girls are really recognizing people. When grandma walked through the door both of their faces lit up and Brooke and Presley both got so excited. I know that made Grandma feel special. I love days like this one, we had such a great time and the girls were great. I better enjoy these while I can because I know it is few and far between. I better put my tired self to bed. Goodnight!

Happy Happy

Brooke and Presley were given these pillows from Room Service Home(Thanks Grace) the modeling for the catalog. Brooke really loves these little pillows. She is also getting better with her picture taking. I am able to get some really great photos of Brooke. I think she is getting the hang of it, after all I have the camera out every day.The pillows are adorable one is a bunny and the other is a lamb. They are really soft. I can foresee the girls using them for a long time. You should check out the catalog they have some really cute stuff. I have a link on the right side of my blog. I still can't believe the girls will be 8 months soon. I look at them every day and think how lucky I am to have such precious gems. They are such good babies. God definitely blessed me with these two little ones. I guess I better get them out of their jumpy and let them crawl around. My computer time is over. Thanks for visiting.

Trouble x 2

My sweet Presley is crawling all over now and getting into trouble as you can see with the blinds. I guess I will have to keep them up slightly so she cannot get to them. My house looks like a maze with all the gates and stuff up. It's much easier to keep it all put up with two crawling around and getting into everything. Hmmm, maybe I'll lose some weight chasing them around, one could only hope. Speaking of weight I started Weight Watcher's last week and I weighed myself this morning and lost four pounds. Yahoo! I have to stay with it because I am tired of this baby weight. The hardest part is drinking all the water because I have to use the bathroom more and with the girls crawling around I have to make it quick or they get into things or fall and bump their sweet little heads. I know TMI, but it's true!

Sweeties

I took these pictures of the girls yesterday. They are both crawling around everywhere. Presley still stops to play but she can get around pretty well.

We bought these outfits when we found out we were having two girls so I had to take a picture of them in these adorable clothes.

My mother in law just stopped by, yahoo! I have help for a little while. I must go to feed the girls. It's lunchtime they are getting a little fussy.

Okay, here is the birthday tin.
I really like how this turned out.
I am so tired so I must go to bed.

Bandaid Tin

I cased this from Beate Johns. I used the same stamp set because I needed a baby gift and thought it was a great idea. I am also going to a retreat in September and I am going to teach the Bandaid Tin. I am making a bandaid tin for keeping track of Birthdays. I thought that would be a good one to show people who don't have babies or need a baby gift. I will post that one when I get finished. Thanks for looking.

Posing Again

Okay, I had to show this picture because little Presley is posing again. She does this all the time.
I think it is so cute. The other picture wasn't very good of her so I had to add this one to even out the bad. Bye for now.

The Hats

I bought these hats a while ago and love them, so I had to take some pictures before they grew out of them. I know, I said I wouldn't dress them alike but sometimes I will if I can't find coordinating outfits and if it is too adorable.Brooke is crawling around everywhere and Presley is well on her way. She crawls a little bit then sits up. Presley will sit and play with something a lot longer than Brooke. I haven't had any stamping time lately. I am hoping maybe tonight or tomorrow for stamping time. I am going to fix some issues from a training I did last week so Grandma will come over to watch the girls because Daddy left for California today. I will have a little "me" time while I drive to the office, can you believe driving is "me" time. I guess I consider it "me" time because it is quiet and no babies crying. That is sad huh! Oh well the pearls of motherhood. Thanks for visiting.
