More Gymboree

Here are more pics of Gymboree. Aleck is in the same class so it was fun to see him again. The girls really enjoy playing with him.
Today was a much better day with Presley, she wasn't as clingy. We went to have a playdate with Aleck. They really enjoyed playing with different toys. The Divine Consign Sale is coming up, so I can't wait to get some new toys. I think they are ready for some new toys.
The girls miss daddy but I have been emailing him pictures of the girls. I know he misses them as well. I will be glad to have him back home.
The girls are in school tomorrow, Hallelujah! I think I will go get a pedicure and take a nap. I can't wait.

Gymboree Fun

I signed the girls up for more Gymboree and they really had a fun time today. They really missed it. It was hard to get them to leave.
I haven't posted as much lately because I am solo and have been too tired or have had other things to do with my time besides post.
Presley has been a little booger lately. I have started putting her in timeout and believe you me she knows what she is doing. She is testing me to the hilt. I know you are thinking that Brooke is the little booger but they have switched roles and Brooke is the one to play really well by herself. Presley is attached to my hip. She wants to be held while standing up and I am not going to do it. She also throws a little tantrum when she doesn't get her way. I have been ignoring the little tantrums as much as I can because she is a MEGAPHONE and it does grate on your nerves.
Brooke is so lovey to Presley and the feelings are not mutual. Poor Brooke she just wants to hug on Presley but Presley doesn't want to be touched. It is so sweet to watch Brooke. Can you tell I need a break? (badly) That won't be happening until Aug 12. Whew! I hope I can hold out. I have to get things ready for my day tomorrow.

Baby Loves Disco

I haven't posted because Presley has been sick. She has a virus that has affected her taste buds. she hasn't eaten or drank much in the last couple of days. She has been in a lot of pain. She has cried a lot and will point to her tongue. As of 12:00 AM she had a 101 fever. She was better today but I couldn't take her to Baby Loves Disco. I took Brooke and she had fun but I am afraid she may have the virus tonight so I hope I didn't make anyone sick. (Sorry). Please pray for me because Gary is out of town and this has been the worse sickness yet.
We took a group photo of all the kids. If Presley would have been there we would have had 3 sets of twins. I sure wish Presley would have been able to go because my little party girl would have had fun. Brooke danced, played with toys, had some snacks and just had fun with friends. Thanks Elissa for your help. You are great. Maybe next time the whole family can make the outing.
I better get to bed because I have a feeling I will be up as much as I was last night with Presley. Brooke has already woken up three times since she went to bed at 8:00pm. Happy Sunday!

So Sweet!

Sweet! I love when they are sweet to each other. They truely adore each other. I hope it stays that way. I want them to always love being around each other. Look how content Presley is laying on daddy's shoulder. She is so a daddy's girl.
Today was a tough one. Presley was so whiny. Days like today make me wish I worked. She was so needy, she wanted to be in my lap or being held all day. When she cries she is a megaphone. She is loud. Thank goodness Brooke was so good today.
We went to an Art Class today and the girls had fun but I didn't sign them up because it was so difficult with two toddlers. I will just do art projects at home with them. But I did sign them up for a music class which they love. We will do that on Thurs. mornings.
I am so excited because I am taking the girls to Baby Loves Disco (www.babylovesdisco.com). It is at a nightclub in Dallas. they baby proof the club and have a disco for kids. They also have snacks. My friend Rita took her boys and they had a blast last month. I'll let you know how it is and of course I will take my cammera. Stay tuned for Disco pics.

Big Girls

Sorry for not posting. We tried the booster chairs with the girls the other day and boy it makes me sad because they are growing up. Look, what big girls they are in their booster seats. They did great but I think I like them to be confined while eating right now. They eat better.
I spent all day organizing my craft room. I rearranged furniture and cleaned out the closet so I could put more crafty things in the closet instead of linens. Our closets are so small. Let me tell you it is packed full. I still need to organize the closet a bit. I did all this while the girls were at school so I was on a time crunch. But I really like the results. I need to paint the walls and put some crafty stuff up on the bare walls, then I will be happy. I am so ready for it to look like a craft room instead a catch all room. Thanks for looking. Have a great week. The girls and I are going to preview an Art Class at Gymboree tomorrow.

Rockin and Rollin

I went to Big Lots the other day to look for big buckets and I found them for 5.00. The only color was blue but it was fine by me. The girls have so much fun playing in them. They would rock side to side. I made up a song but I won't go there with you. We had a red one that Gary used for his dry cleaning and they fought over it one day and I realized that was one thing we needed more than one. I put stuffed animals in one and toys in the other. It worked out great and they still will dump everything out of them and play with them. Of course I make them help me put the toys back into the tubs when they are done. Brooke is really good about helping. Presley usually follows Brooke's lead. Their newest thing is turning the tent on its back where the opening is facing up towards the ceiling. They then proceed to put every toy in sight and then some into the tent and climb in on top of everything. They sometimes roll the tent all around the room and laugh so hard while doing it. So Cute! I told Gary we have definitely gotten our money out of the tent.

Too Funny

Aleck and Brooke were putting their faces right on one of the water spouts. Brooke started it I don't think Aleck would have done it if it weren't for Brooke. I think I need to retract my last statement because Brenda and I think Aleck and Brooke are a lot alike. He probably would have done it on his own. Anyway back too my story, when the spout came back on it got both of them and it was hilarious to watch their faces. I laughed so hard. It was too funny. Just another preciuos moment in our life.

Splash Island

I found Splash Island from an email from McMoms.(Moms of Multiples) Brenda and I decided to try it out and it was a blast. It was totally safe because their was not a body of water for me to worry over. I am so happy that we have found a fun place to go during the summer. It is impossible for me to swim with the girls at this age.The best part of the whole day was it is free. They all had so much fun. The girls were slow to get going but Aleck got right in there right away. He is not shy at all. He knows no strangers. Of course, I took a lot of pictures so I will post more tomorrow. We will definitely be going back again and again. We were the first ones there then it slowly started getting crowded. The hardest part of the day for me was to keep the girls away from everyones stuff and the babies. They love babies. Brenda will probably agree with me her hard part of the day was chasing Aleck. He found where the entrance was and headed for it several times. I know she was tired because I was exhausted. But it is worth every bit of exhaustion to let my children experience new things. I love to see their little faces light up and hear them laugh when they are having a good time. It was a great day! Thanks Brenda and Aleck for being a part of our fun day.

Pool Party

We went to a friends pool party on Sunday. It was crazy so I didn't get very many pics. It was really hard to keep up with the girls and snap some pics. But here are a few of my favorites. They both LOVE watermelon but Brooke really loves it. Presley loves bringing daddy a Dr. Pepper. They had so much fun in that ice bucket. They would put their hands in until they were really cold and Presley would cry. (so funny) She didn't understand. Then they started putting a foot in the ice water and would laugh. The funniest thing was when one of the older kids came over and put their head in the bucket and Brooke bent over like she was going to do the same thing. Daddy caught her just in time. They love to watch the bigger kids and do what they do.
My favorite picture of the day is Kenzie and Clay hugging. Is that not the cutest picture? I love the innocence of children. We had a fun day and Thanks to Karen and Jay for opening their home.

More Playdate

I had to post more from our playdate the other day because I have too many favorites.
Sorry for the long break between posts. Our weekends are usually packed full.
Brooke was not happy when Aleck tried to take her Legos away. Look at her face, it makes me laugh. I love the picture of Aleck, I think he is wondering why these two little girls are playing with his toys. He is the cutest! Presley is pointing at Aleck because he is running and laughing in the hall. I am so thankful they all get along because it sure is fun watching them.

Such A Fun Day

We had a fun day today. We went to the mall to play in the play area. Both of the girls played so hard they fell asleep on the way home.
Then we did a spur of the moment play date with Aleck. They all played so well together. The girls were really digging into the toyboxes and checking out the toys. Aleck was so good to share his toys. Last time Aleck came over Presley was a little selfish with her toys. (we are getting better, I hope). It is so funny to watch them play. Aleck walks around babbling it is so adorable. The girls are so quiet when we go somewhere different. It amazes me, especially Brooke. It takes her a while to warm up. They are saying more words but they still have their own language. I talk to them all the time and repeat things and they will repeat things but they still seem so quiet to me. But of course, I am a talker and I want my children to be just like me but it looks like they may be more like their daddy in that department. I guess its not so bad. I'm sure it will change.
I couldn't pick a few pictures because I took so many. Don't they look like they were having fun. I love the picture of Aleck, he looks like he is having the time of his life. Wouldn't you if you had two cute girls to get their attention. I love the picture of Brooke and Aleck kissing. Shhh! Don't tell daddy.
The girls also had fun with Joni (buckethead). I think she had as much fun as the kids. We all did.
We thouroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks Brenda and Aleck for opening your home. We can't wait for the next playdate.
