New Technique

Here is the card we made at Stamp Club last night. We did a new technique. We used acetate! You take two pieces of acetate and put two different colors on a piece of acetate and then you take your glossy CS and put it face down on the acetate with the ink and press. Wow! doesn't the background look cool. The little circles in the background were done with Sequin Scrap it is what is left over after they punch the sequins out. It was bought in the floral department at Michaels. Then you take the sequin scrap and sponge it on with ink. Then after your background is finished you can stamp your image with any stamp.

My Little Models

Brooke and Presley did a modeling session the other day for a catalog (http://www.roomservicehome.com/) and Angela was kind enough to send me a picture to post on my blog. (Thanks Angela) They are modeling the little puppy coats. I do have to say "Two Cuuuutteee." She even got Brooke to smile and we know that is hard to do sometimes. Little Presley is always smiling. Oh, those little girls are so precious. I thank God every day he gave me such a treasure.

Crawling

Here is proof, my little Brookie is crawling. She didn't get very far but she did it! She is really saying Dada all the time now. Daddy videoed her saying it while I was at Stamp Club last night. She sounds so cute when she says "Da da."

Swimming Again

We went to a birthday party yesterday and Papaw bought Brooke and Presley their own little pool. They had a blast as you can see. Presley loved kicking her feet in the water. Poor Brooke had horrible allergies, her eyes and nose were running and she kept scratching at her eyes. Bless her little heart. She still had fun in the little pool. It was great to see family we haven't seen in a while.
Brooke has started crawling. It is only a little bit and then she stops and will lay down. Daddy entices her with his shoe because she loves to get his shoe. Yea Brooke! Presley is right behind her. This is a Brooke brag day because she also said DaDa this morning. Enjoy the photos of the girls in the pool.
I am so excited because I am going to Stamp Club tonight. A much needed break for Mama. Gary will be out of town some this week and I will be solo.
We were about to go swimming with the girls until we realized the dark clouds rolling in and heard some thunder. I guess we will wait on the swimming for another day.

Little Miss Presley

Miss Presley is already into things as you can see from the photos. She lifted herself up for the first time on the fireplace. Things are really happening fast these days. Poor Brooke is having a bad allergy day.

Our Helper

I had a little help on Thursday with the girls.
Emily did a great job. The girls really watched and loved her.
She changed a diaper and fed a baby for the first time. I do have to say that she will be a great babysitter when she is old enough to babysit. She was very inquisitive and asked quesions.
She wanted to trade her sister for Brooke and Presley. The cutest thing was she kept saying, "she could just eat them up." Thanks Emily! Hurry and come back over the girls miss you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULEE!

Hey There

My little Brooke is developing the cutest personality.
Her laugh is such a contagious one, you hear it and it makes you laugh right back at her.
Finally a tooth is starting to peek through. I swear today, when I was taking these pictures, I thought she was about to crawl so I ran to get the video camera and she never did make the move but was definitely on all fours a lot. I take so many photos and it seems she is always frowning or making other faces in the photos. She really does smile and it is the cutest cheeky smile, it is just hard to capture it in a picture. Brooke's newest thing is she has found her voice and I do mean voice, she is a SCREAMER and loud high pitch scream. It makes me laugh as I hold my ears. She is so adorable.

Strike a Pose

Presley loves to lay like this and usually has her leg moving up and down. That girl is such a ham. She is getting up on all fours and will be crawling before too long.
She is also a rolling machine. She rolls all over the living room. She has the happiest disposition and always has a smile on her face. Her newest thing is opening her mouth really wide with no sound coming out of her mouth, her daddy and I laugh and tell her to close her mouth or a fly will get in her mouth. She is my "Sweet P."

Hot Stuff!

I love this set from MFT, I just received it yesterday and had to make something with it last night.
The card base is Old Olive and the patterned paper is Basic Grey Infuse. All stamps are from MFT Hot Stuff. The main image is colored in with watercolor crayons as well as the coffe mugs. I cut the coffee mugs out to have a little more dimension. I used a Giga Square scallop punch (so excited to use because I have been wanting some of those darn scallop punches and bought one yesterday and plan to by more.) I also used the Word Window punch for the saying.
I finished it off with brads and ribbon I bought on the $1 bin at Michaels. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do.

Little Swimmers

Brooke and Presley are 8 months old and went swimming today for the first time. They were so cute and definitely loved the water but have always loved their bath, so I knew there would be no problem with them in the pool. They are really developing such cute personalities. Brooke is starting to get a little temper and Presley doesn't like to be by herself. I just want to freeze time because this stage is so precious and I want it to last longer. Have a great week.

Lovin New In Colors

I finally got to stamp. I made this card the other night but just now posting. I have been a busy bee this weekend. I lovveeeeee the new In Colors from Stampin Up! I used Wild Wasabi for the card base and Blue Bayou stamped with Fine Lace The Flowers are from Happy Harmony (Retired) I stamped that with Versamark and used White Opaque embossing powder. I then sponged on Blue Bayou for the sky and Wild Wasabi for the grass. The stamp used for the grass is from Stamps By Judith. I then mounted the main image with River Rock and White CS. I stamped the sentiment with Wild Wasabi CS and Basic Black with an alphabet I bought at LSS(Recollections) and then punched out with a Marvy Circle Punch. I finished it off with white grosgrain ribbon and antique brass hardware. I loved how this card turned out and the colors are so refreshing. Thanks for looking.

Cuties

I had to take Presley to the doctor this morning because she has been sneezing and rubbing her nose and eyes. The doctor said it was allergies. I hope it isn't an on going issue. So I dressed them in these skirts, which I love so I had to take a photo of the two of them. Poor Presley is always wet from drooling and Brooke always has her fingers in her mouth. They are just the sweetest girls.

Making Faces!

The girls are really getting their little personalities. I took this photo this morning and they were so cute. They were making the "cutest little baby faces."
Sorry I have been MIA, but have been really busy and tired. Hubby was out of town and then he had minor surgery on Fri. Don't worry everything is fine just had something removed on his leg.
I haven't had the time or energy to step foot in my craft room :(
But can I tell you how excited I am that I received my Stampin Up order, all but two items they are on backorder. I cut all the stamps but one set this morning and am hoping to get some ink on those new stamp sets tonight. I also received all my new in color inks and paper (Yea!). I also booked a weekend away at a scrapbook retreat in September. I told hubby it could be my Birthday present. I am looking so forward to that weekend already. Happy Stamping!

After Wedding Party!

I am posting this post for Hollie because she loved Brooke and Presley and they seemed to love watching her. Hollie thanks for being such a great helper.

Bingo Sketch 3

I made this card while the girls were napping (don't look too close).
Card base is Regal Rose CS with Paisley stamped in Regal Rose Ink. I also used Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla. The patterned paper Is Basic Grey Infuse (Love it). I used Polka Dots and Posies and stamped the flower in Old Olive and Chocolate Chip. I used Fruit Punch Stickles for the dots on the flower and placed a button from Foofala in the middle. The sentiment is from All Year Cheer 1 (retired). I used my Word Window
Punch and punched out with Infuse paper. I finished it off with brown brads and the ribbon I got from the $1 bin at Michaels.
Finished posting just in time I hear a cry from one of the girls. Enjoy your day!

My Winnings!

I made this card with the set I won from the Bingo game.
I sent this to Julee as a Thank You. I hope she has received the card. (Ooops)
I used Old Olive for the card base. The patterened paper is My Mind's Eye Tres Bien collection. I also used Marigold Morning, Really Rust, and Very Vanilla. I used Stickles on the giraffe and the circles on the patterened paper. The punches used are photo corners and a ticket punch. The ribbon is a brown and ivory gingham I bought at Joann's. I also chalked the edges of the paper with Color Box Chalk in Chestnut Roan which is my favorite chalk color.
We had pictures made today and can I tell you the girls were so good and did so well. God must have been listening to my prayer. The photographer was great, for those of you who want a good photographer I highly recommend her. I found her through a friend (thanks Teri). I can't wait to see the final proofs. They had pictures taken in hats, bows, tulle skirts, and chenille bloomers. Oh my goodness they were adorable. If you're interested, her website is http://www.angelamphotography.com/
She is located in Keller, Texas. She is really great with children.
Thanks for looking.

Big Girls!

Oh my, I can't believe my girls are 71/2 months old. Brooke has mastered sitting up. Presley can sit alone but not as long as Brooke. They are really noticing each other and conversing in their own language. It is so cute to watch them.

Cute Card!

I received this adorable card from Julee from Poetic Artistry with the stamp set I won in the Bingo game. She is so talented. These little Hero Arts birds are so cute. This picture doesn't do the card justice it is much cuter in person. Thanks Julee!

Coffee!

I made this card the other night and have just had time to post it.
I wasn't thrilled with the way it turned out. I wasn't feeling very creative that night but haven't had the time to stamp any more.
I bought this set because it had to do with friends and coffee. It is from Inkadinkado and was a set. My paper is stampin Up-Marigold Morning, Chocolate Chip True Thyme, and Really Rust. and the ribbon is We Are Memory Keepers. The background stamp is from I Like It a Latte! I finished the card off with Stickles. Thanks for looking.

Missing My Stamps!

I am sitting here catching up on my emails and listening to my adorable girls laughing at each other. There is nothing quite like the sound of a childs laugh. It makes me smile from ear to ear.
I have been so busy this week and haven't been able to stamp. I hope to get in there and do some stamping tonight. I am having ink withdrawals.
I am so tired of the rain! Is it ever going to stop? We have had some major flooding in areas again tonight. I hope for the kids sake it is nice tomorrow for the fireworks.
I must go and tend to my darling girls. They are being so cute I have to go play with them.
