Cowgirls Just Want To Have Fun!

I love these little girls and especially love when they wear their cowboy boots. We had a birthday party at Rodeo Zone and the boots were definitely a must for this party.

Riding the bulls were the hit of the party. Brooke was having a blast and was a pretty good bull rider. Presley didn’t want to ride the bull until I bribed her with a root beer. Is it wrong to bribe your children? Not for a mom who wants the photo opportunity. It started out slow for her, she wouldn’t even smile for me. But look at her, I even got a wave and she was smiling by the end of the ride.

I followed through with my promise and as you can see they were happy to get their root beer. They were two happy little cowgirls.

I have to say this was the perfect party for everyone. All of the kids wore permanent smiles on their faces. There was plenty of cowboy related things to do. Riding bulls, roping a calf (a fake calf, of course), horseshoes, and horse bikes. The best, by far is spending time with school friends.

My favorite part of the day is photographing these two sweet girls, especially when I have these cherished memories.

Easter With The Hays Family

These little girls are the best of friends. Such a blessing to spend Easter with close friends. We were invited to Waxahachie for lunch and an Easter Egg Hunt. Just after lunch we headed to Michelle’s parents home for dessert and the egg hunt but it poured rain on the way to their home and the temperature dropped drastically. It was cold and we were not dressed appropriately. Thank goodness I had jackets in the car for the girls.

Once the rain stopped we headed outside to ride around the field. I was so disappointed that it had rained because I was going to take some great pictures in the bluebonnets but it was too wet. They were beautiful as you can see from the pictures. This was a first for my girls, riding on lawn mowers, who would have thought it would be so much fun. I love watching the joy from experiencing new things. They were pretty happy even thought it was chilly.
