Presley’s hair has changed dramatically, it has become really coarse and is very curly in the back and straight on the sides. It would be wild and frizzy when she woke in the mornings just like the picture below on Christmas morning. She decided she wanted to get her hair cut just like her doll Emily so I took her the other day. It is so adorable and fits her personality to a tee. Short and sassy! She doesn’t have bangs that is all new hair growth. She asked me the other day, if people would know her because she has short hair now. That little mind of hers is always thinking. She makes me laugh.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
We had Christmas Eve at our house this year. I always like having Christmas Eve because I don’t have to be out late with the girls and it’s easier to get everything ready Christmas morning. I didn’t take as many pictures because the wine took too much of my time. Lol! It was a fun night and good times spent with family.
Merry Christmas! Santa was good to the girls this year he brought them just what they wanted. It didn’t help that Evan the elf watched over them and reported to Santa their behavior. I am going to miss him because he definitely kept things around here much calmer. All I had to do was threaten I was going to tell Evan and they were good. I wonder if I could have Evan out all year, probably not because he would run out of places to hide and he was a little mischievous at times.
The girls were so excited to see their American Girl dolls. Brooke named hers Rainbow Sparkle and Presley named hers flower. I suggested they give them real names and Brooke chose Jessica but she calls her Jessie and Presley named hers Emily, now that is more like it. Brooke is obsessed with rainbows right now. She wants to name everything rainbow this or rainbow that, she even says she wants a rainbow car. I hope she changes her mind when she is older. Christmas was fun this year and gets better every year. Children definitely make it more fun. We are so blessed and thank God every day for our many blessings. Remember Jesus is the reason for the season.
Mimi and Poppy came over for Christmas brunch and I never took my camera out. I was so busy it slipped my mind. Mimi and Poppy gave the girls a swing set. They put it up on December 22 and the girls watched them put it together. They had to take out some of our bricks and Presley stomped in the house and informed everyone Daddy was going to be very mad. Mimi said, she was really upset. My sweet little Presley worries about the little things, she got that from her daddy. I would have taken pictures of the construction but I had to work. I started working part time and it has kept me quite busy.

Happy Birthday Rita
We celebrated Rita’s Birthday at her house with pizza and cupcakes. The kids had fun playing and the adults had fun sampling the wine. It was a fun night and as you can see the kids were pooped out. Presley crawled in bed with Josh, and Clay outlasted them all but fell asleep on the couch watching TV. I hope they always get along this well. It is always fun when you can spend your birthday with friends.

Carriage Ride
We decided to eat diner at MiCocina so we could take a carriage ride. The girls have been asking since the first time they saw the carriage rides especially Presley and she doesn’t forget anything and will ask you constantly until you do it. It was the perfect night, not too cold. Our horse was Max and he was beautiful. The girls noticed two of the horses had their tales braided. The other horses were Jake and Dolly. Dolly is new to carriage rides this year. The girls loved riding around Southlake Town Square. It was a fun family night.
My Little Photo Models
I got a new external flash for my camera for Christmas. Yes, it was an early gift much to Gary’s demise. But once I got it, I couldn’t put it under the tree because I needed it for Christmas pictures. It is really hard to get pictures in my house without a flash because of the lighting and the darkness of some of the rooms. I am so excited and have been trying it out and love, love it. Thank you honey for getting me what I wanted.
As we were walking around Southlake Town Square the girls were so silly and modeling for me just like when we took the Pumpkin Patch pictures. I absolutely love when they want their pictures taken. It was so much fun to watch them get creative with their poses. I love those sweet girls.

Christmas Pictures
Merry Christmas! This is my first attempt at Christmas pictures. Brooke was not happy, she was a little upset because she didn’t like the jeans she was wearing so she wouldn’t smile. She was mad at me and she tends to hold a grudge when mad. She also was tired because they didn’t have a nap and that never helps matters. She finally smiled a little smile.
