Happy Birthday Party

We went to two birthday parties this weekend. Aleck's birthday was on Saturday and I have no pictures because I forgot my camera so feel free to send me pictures Brenda and Joni so I can post them to my blog. Brant's birthday was today and the girls had a blast at both of the parties. They say, Happy Birthday Party (hence the title) whenever we are going to any kind of party. At first, when I told them we were going to birthday parties this weekend they were saying Happy Birthday Mimi and I had to let them know it was for Aleck and Brant. They still remember making the birthday cake for Mimi(so cute).
We left early and had them sleep in the car because the party was in Plano. They did sleep but not long enough for Brooke she got a little defiant at the party. That girl needs her sleep. Presley can mange fine without a nap and still stays up past her bedtime. She talks and plays in her bed. She is so like her mommy, she doesn't need much sleep. The girls played with new toys, in the sandbox, jumped in a bounce house, swung in an airplane swing, colored, did a puzzle, sang Happy Birthday (which they love to do) ate an Ice Cream Cake for the first time and absolutely loved it, and then played some more until Brooke started to melt down and then it was time to leave. They both fell asleep on the way home. We had a lot of fun and it was good to see old and new faces. The weather was perfect. Thanks Michelle for thinking of us for Brant's special day.

I'm Back And Happy!!!!!

Wow, it has been a long time and I have really had blogging withdrawals. I never realized how much I use my computer as therapy until you don't have one. I will tell you I got some things done. Hmm! That sounds like I won't be getting as much done now. So true! Gary says that's why he didn't want to get me a computer. He's pretty funny isn't he. Oh well such is life and I am a happy person now that I am back on line and can blog. Thanks honey, I love my new computer and it is so much faster. Why didn't I do it sooner? I stayed up til 1:00am loading some of my software and now look at me I am back on and addicted again but at a new level because of being without. Can you say obsession?
It has been a busy couple of weeks Gary has been in New York and China with a small break at home in between. The girls really missed him. My new computer has web cam capabilities and he said he will set it up on his work computer so the girls can see him when he is gone for long periods. I would take pictures with my iphone and send them to him. Thank goodness I had my iphone because at least I could check my email and get a liitle of my fix each day. That probably saved me from going into full withdrawals.
The girls are really starting to talk a lot especially Presley, she repeats everything I say. Brooke is talking alot also but she still has her boppy and I need to really focus on helping her give it up. I think I may do what Super Nanny does with a Boppy Fairy. But we'll see. I also need to work on potty training in which I am dreading because of public restrooms and my germ issues. I know I will have to get over that as well.
I didn't take as many pictures because I didn't have a computer to load them on but I did take a few as well as some video and that is another thing that excites me about my computer I can do videos now of the girls. My other computer was so old and didn't have the memory to store videos becasue they use a lot.
The girls got these new balls and they absolutely love them as you can see from the pictures. Well, I should pay attention to my children because Gary is catching up on sleep and trying to get in the right time zone after returning from China early Sat. morning.
