Two Sets Of Twins

Whew! I can breathe now. I am glad the holidays are almost over. The girls had a blast but now it is back to our normal routine. Josh and Clay came over on Christmas Eve so we could exchange presents. This was the only picture I got of all four of them. They are just so adorable. I hope they will always play nice and like each other. We plan on taking vacations together which I think willl be so fun.
The other picture is of Brooke and Presley in a chest in which is now removed from the living room because they were both standing up on it at the same time. It was an accident waiting to happen.
Have I mentioned my house looks like a daycare? It does, and it is already driving me crazy. The girls got a lot of big stuff for Christmas and no where to put it, but in the living room. I need a play room. I guess it will be a while before I get a play room.
We are going to a friends parents house tomorrow for New Years Day dinner. It will be good to see everyone. The girls are going to wear those same little red dresses. I have to get as much wear out of them as I can. I bought them on sale for $17.00. If they didn't scream Christmas I could use them for Valentines day but I'll have to buy new ones for that and hopefully on sale. Little girls are so expensive but I love every minute of it.
Gary is letting me go to Ten Seconds Studio tomorrow to have some ME time. I am so excited. That's why I love him. He finally understands when I need to get away for a break.
Have a safe and Happy New Year. We are staying in tonight. I am so glad I don't think I could make it to twelve.

Christmas

Here are a few pictures for those of you waiting to see the girls. We had a great Christmas! I had Christmas Eve and Christmas at my house so it has been crazy. Presley and Brooke did really well with all the people. They loved what Santa brought them (Red Wagon, Picnic Table, and slide) among all the other presents. My house really looks like a day care with all the toys. Help, I need another room because we know I can't give up my scrapbook room. I will be cleaning out and putting things away to sale later. It drives me nuts to have so much stuff laying around. I know it's only for a short while and I should just chill but for an anal person it is really hard. I have to train tomorrow so this will be a very short post. I have a ton of stuff to do before tomorrow. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year! Be Safe!

Sweeties

Whew! I can come up and breathe now. I have been so busy with the holiday rush and all, I haven't been able to post. Here are a few photos of my sweet angels. I can't wait until Christmas to see them open their presents they will be so cute. They love packages and boxes. I have wrapped everything I can. We are having Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at our house. It is so much easier with the girls to be at their own home.
Gary and I are going to a Christmas Party tonight and much needed time away. Oh date night. We have to get up and go to church tomorrow because the times on Christmas Eve don't work with the girls schedules.
I must go and give the girls a bath and then get myself ready to Paartyy!!!

Naked

I was getting them ready for a bath last night and after I undressed Presley, she took off running. I decided it wasn't worth the battle so I undressed Brooke and she went to see what Presley was doing. I ran to get my camera because I realized I have no naked butt pictures (which I love). Can you believe that I haven't taken .We are going to Target today since it isn't raining. We need to get out of the house. I have to get some Christmas presents and NO, I am not finished. I have to go so I can put the girls down for a nap so I can get some things done.

Ahhh Sweet Girls

I took these photos yesterday. Brooke started out being sweet by hugging Presley, then she proceded to put a blanket on her. She kept doing it until Presley was tired of it and pushed her away. Presley is learning to defend herself from Brooke.
They were so cute when they woke up this morning and saw the "Pretty Tree," that is what I say to the girls. They just stared at it and of course tried to reach in for ornaments but were unable to reach anything. Yeah! for the gate, it worked. I still laugh at it though, it reminds me of a tree at the mall, all fenced off so no one will touch it. It's like it is a prized possession. I must get and start making the girls lunch. They will be getting hungry soon. Have a great day!

Play Date

The girls had a play date today with Aleck. They really played nice with him. He is so adorable and such a happy baby. I knew it was hard to get a picture of two babies but three was almost impossible. This was the best we could do. They were going everywhere but where we wanted them to go. It was quite humorous, after I looked at the photos, to think we thought we were going to get a good photo of all of them. As you can see Brooke is on the move and so was Alec. It is hard for her to sit for very long unless of course she is getting into something she shouldn't, then she will sit forever. Thanks Brenda for bringing him over today. We will come to your house next time. It was such a great visit and I enjoyed the adult conversation.

I put the Christmas tree up tonight and never visioned it would look this way. We actually have a gate around it to keep the girls from messing with it. It cracks me up. I love it because it shows I have children and sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure it is all so real. I still can't believe sometimes that I am a mother. I know I 'll believe it when they start hollaring MOTHER but I will still love it even then. I looked at the girls proofs today and Oh my goodness so cute. You will see a little when I send out the Christmas cards. Oh and by the way they will be close to Christmas probably the week before Christmas. I better get to bed. Goodnight!

Presley's Lovey

Presley is so attached to her lovey. It just started last week. She carries it around everywhere. She use to only have it when she went to bed but I made the mistake of giving it to her a couple of times to console her. She now wants it quite often. She is addicted to it. Oh well, it could be worse. It's a good thing I have two of them so I can keep them washed (I think I need a third lovey to make it easier on mommy) She puts it in her mouth and chews on it when she is going to sleep. It can really start to smell after a while. (yucky!) Presley is walking a lot more she is still so determined but will still crawl at times. Her problem is thinking she has to carry something in both hands while walking and it throws her concentration off and of course, she falls. But she will get right back up with her hands full and fall again. She'll learn one day. I bought them the cutest shirts the other day at Old Navy with gift certificates from their birthday. They have them on in the pictures. Presley's says I heart my daddy (because he buys me things). Brooke's you can see in the photo it says, Daddy answers to ME! Is that not so perfect for, "Ms. Queen B." I loved her face in the one picture. It fits the shirt perfectly with her expression. Brooke has the funniest personality, she will just walk around and laugh out loud for no reason. It is so cute.
We went to eat dinner tonight at Soup or Salad (I think the title is wrong). The girls did really well again. This is the second time to go but the first time with daddy. They love the jello and the ice cream. Presley thought the ice cream was a little cold but still liked it. The girls were finished eating and I left their toys in the car (duhhh!), so I pulled out some mittens and pretended they were finger puppets and was playing with them. They were laughing so hard it was so precious. Presley really had a good hard belly laugh. I know I have mentioned this before but I LOVE to hear my children laugh. It touches my heart so dearly and I think we are so lucky to have such wonderful girls. I hope they stay that way. Sorry I haven't posted in a week but we were all sick with the stomach flu it only lasted 24 hours but was not good. So for all of us it has been a bad week. I was really sick yesterday like in bed. Thanks to my MIL for saving the day. I don't know what I would have done because Gary was out of town. Well, I'm glad it's over. Thanks Pat! I am having a me day tomorrow. I am so excited. A much needed one. Goodnight!

Christmas Tea 2007

We went to a Christmas Tea today and the girls were so cute. They sat on Santas lap and did very well. Brooke was so mesmerized with Santa. She couldn't stop staring at him. Presley kept her hat on but Brooke of course, would not keep hers on. Thanks to my mother-in-law for going with us. I couldn't have done it without her. The girls were everywhere. I thought for sure they would be fussy because they were that way all day and didn't sleep very well the last couple of nights. They were great while we were there, they waited to be fussy when we got home. Their little dresses had adorable matching jackets but since it was so hot out today I opted to not put them on today. I had their pictures made last week and they wore these same dresses. I love that they got to wear them twice and the best thing is I bought them second hand which I'm sure this will be the last time they wear them. I love finding great deals. I am pooped and have some sinus issues so I am going to veg out and watch some Sunday night TV. I love Brotheers and Sisters. I think it is my new favorite show as well as October Road. I am addicted to both. Goodnight and have a great week. Oh yea tomorrow is hubby's birthday. Happy Birthday Gary.
