Indian Princess Campout
The girls have joined Indian Princesses and went on their first campout with daddy. These pictures were before they left in the car. It's all I have because daddy didn't take a camera. He was pooped when he got home on Sunday. They went on a hike(found a frog and roly poly), fishing(both girls caught some fish and Brooke told me the fish was really slippery and she held the fish.), bonfire, played games, and went to Chapel on Sunday morning. Brooke told me the Chapel at the campsite was different than Chapel at school. They both loved sleeping in the tent and really enjoyed their time playing with Ava. They were both so excited to see me on Sunday and couldn't wait to share all the fun they had camping. All Gary said to me was it will be easier when they are five and the big girls didn't help with the little girls. I happen to mention to Gary that the older girls would probably help out with the young girls but that didn't happen and I think he was a little disappointed but all in all I think he had fun and loved spending the time with the girls. He is such a great father and I am so blessed to have him.

Soccer Practice
Another fun evening at soccer practice. The girls did better and I think they enjoyed themselves.
Brooke was poking some of the boys on the team. I guess that would be considered flirting if she was bigger and knew what she was doing. Presley would sit on her ball and rest until we would tell her to participate. I think she would have set there the whole time and watched if we would have let her. She is such a princess and she will tell you she is a princess.

Fun Fun Weekend!
We had a busy but great weekend. The Mathis Family had us over on Saturday night to celebrate my birthday. The girls really enjoy playing with Clay and Josh and all of their toys. We are so lucky that they all play well together. We took a walk and then came back and had cupcakes. I love to hear the sound of children singing Happy Birthday especially when those children mean so much to me. Thanks Rita for making my birthday so special.
We were up at the crack of dawn to get to the Plano Balloon Festival. We loaded the girls in the car in their PJ's hoping they would sleep a little longer. As I carried Presley to the car she said, "Where are we going?" I said, "The Balloon Festival." She was so excited that she couldn't sleep and chatted the whole way to Plano. So much for a little extra sleep! It was great to see Clay and Josh again and the girls loved seeing all the balloons and of course they always love the bounce houses so we ventured over to the kiddy section. It was hot and humid but seeing the aw on your childs face makes you forget the heat for a little while!

First Soccer Game
We had our first soccer game on Saturday and yes, it was hot. It's a coed team and there are three girls and the rest boys. The girls did better than I thought they would. Presley didn't seem to want to play but she played well. She never really got into any of the plays, she would stay behind but she sure did love to kick or throw the ball when asked. Brooke seemed to enjoy it a little more but kept chewing her nails while on the field. She was close to touching the ball a couple of times but never did touch it. They both wanted to leave after the first period but stuck it out until the end. I think it didn't help that they knew we were going to Clay and Josh's house right after the game. It was so sweet to watch all the kids play. I love that the coach has to ask them all through the game which goal we kick the ball towards and she makes them point to the goal. I hope they enjoy the next game more than they did this one.
We won the game even though we are not suppose to keep up with wins and losses. I love watching the girls learn new things.
