First Day Of Preschool

The girls were so excited to go to school today and I have to say mommy was just as excited. My plan was to take pictures in the classroom but because we took these at home it made us run late so it never happened. We got at school at 8:00am and Chapel is at 8:05 and we do not want to be late for chapel at this school. Presley wouldn't smile for me so daddy gave her a baby like Brooke and that helped a little. I can't believe another school year has arrived, it means they are growing up.

When I picked them up they rambled on about their day and were really excited about the green frog they made in Spanish class. Mrs Drummond said Brooke was very helpful during chapel with a little girl that was crying, she hugged her and made sure to show her the ropes. That is my little Brooke, she has such a mothering spirit. Presley was also a big help as well. Mrs. Lilley was so excited to have them both in her class so they could show everyone what is expected.

It sounds like my two sweet girls had a great first day. I am so thankful I have two well adjusted kids.

Deer Valley, Utah

I realized I never posted our Utah Vacation.. I took so many pictures so I will post a little at a time. We took a lift up to the top of Deer Valley and took some pictures. It was much colder and more windy on top of the mountain. The view was amazing. The kids loved running around and Presley was having a fun time collecting rocks and as you can see in the picture of her, the sweatshirt was so full and wouldn't hold anymore rocks.  Speaking of sweatshirt, I had to buy those because it was much cooler in the evenings. I'm not complaining because at home in Texas we are still getting triple digit heat. She is my little collector of things. Brooke was having such a fun time with Clay. She really does enjoy her playtime with Clay and Josh.
