I Am So Excited

Yahoo! I am so happy, I can finally load pics to my computer. The new Dental Software I had loaded has really slowed my computer down and has used up my RAM. So my camera was too big for my computer to handle it. I am now using a card reader. I sure was hoping for a new computer. Darn! Gary was not having any part of it. He said I needed to take some things off of my computer (not happening). I need everything on my computer. He just doesn't understand. Men!
Brooke has now showed Presley how to stand on the table. She is such a toot! I only bring the table in on occasion. The table was suppose to be so I could give them snack and they would sit and be good girls. What in the world was I thinking, obviously, I wasn't thinking at all.
Presley found this little shelf the other day under our built in desk. She was so cute. She was so proud of herself. A couple of days later they both found the shelf and they thought they were big girls. Speaking of big girls, they are getting so big and heavy. My back aches at night when I go to bed and I know it is from carrying them around.
Well, I am tired so off to bed.

I Feel Lost

I feel so lost without my computer working at its full capacity. I had someone help me with some issues and I still can't get my computer to recognize my camera. It would be nice if I could get a new laptop out of this but I doubt Gary will agree to a new computer. It would have to totally crash before that would happen.
The girls are so curious now. We have a gate around the fireplace and Brooke has figured out how to move one end of the gate and to get up on the fireplace. I put some riding toys in front of the gate but she is way too smart, she remembered and today her sister followed. They were on the fireplace playing with some of their toys. I guess it is time to take the gate down. It is so amazing how much they remember and learn so quick. I wish I had their memory. Oh, how I wish I was young again or at least had their energy. Hopefully I will figure out my issues soon so you can see more pictures of my little angels.
I have also been making some cards, can you believe it! I will show you those later of course.

Still Having Computer Issues

I am still not able to load my pictures to my computer. I had someone call me late on Friday to help me with my computer but I was in the car and unable to do it at that time. (darn the luck).
I will call him on Monday so we can get the issue resolved. I am not good with the hardware part of computers that is why I use one of the hardware guys from the company I use to work. I have to be careful because my computer has the software I train and I don't want to lose anything.
I didn't realize how much I rely on my camera and computer until something is wrong. I still have been taking pictures so you will see them later.
The girls are still as cute as ever. Brooke runs around pointing to everything. They both walk around saying, "uh," and they expect you to now what they want, sometimes I know and sometimes not. They love to get in each others beds. They will laugh and play at each other from across the room. They are really starting to babble a lot. Brooke loves the dog. she chases him around and calls out "Da." The dog of course just moves to another spot so she won't bother him and then he eventually will go to the door to go outside. I don't leave the dog in all day, I only let him in when they seem to get fussy because it makes them forget about being fussy, for a while until the novelty wears off.
The girls are feeling much better. Hallelujah!! We went to Gymboree on Sat. and can I tell you they were wild. They were all over the place. Gary and I were worn out. I think being couped up in the house all week made them go crazy once they were out. I was going crazy myself. Gary and I went to the stockyard yesterday and then went to the Riata for dinner. It was a friends birthday. Happy Birthday Cody! It was a fun night with a great group of people. Gary and I can't wait to take the girls next year to see all the animals and of course so they can wear pink cowboy boots. I have always loved seeing little girls in pink cowboy boots and now I can buy some for my girls.
It is time to put the girls down for their morning nap so I can shower. Happy Sunday!

Sick, Sick, Sick

Sorry for not posting but the girls are sick with a cold/virus. Their little noses are like faucets. I am constantly wiping their noses and washing my hands all day. My hands are so dry and chapped. Please, Lord let this end soon. On top of all that Gary was out of town this weekend. It is Monday and I am already exhausted.

I am having problems with my camera and computer. I cannot load any pictures onto my computer for some reason. I took my laptop to the convention so some things could be loaded for my trainings and I also took my external harddrive so Brian (hardware Specialist) could look at it and fix my issues. I am getting some error involving USB hub port. I hope my USB connections are not bad. I am going to email him and see if he can fix the problem via email for me. So I will have to show you older pictures.
These pictures were taken by someone else (Thanks Jamie) at Christmas. I love the hat Brooke has on, it is a little big but she will grow into it. Adorable! She has a matching sweater to go with the hat. My littlePresley and her smile that will melt your heart. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and enjoy your week.

Gymboree

I took my camera to Gymboree this morning becasue the last time I took pictures they were not walking. They have really come a long way. Gary and I noticed a big difference at Gymboree today. They are really starting to enjoy themselves and love to go off and play on their own. Brooke learned to climb up the slide. Probably not a good thing when she is on the playground but I thought it was a milestone. Presley loves and I mean loves the parachute. She was laughing so loud when she was under it today. I realized they are truly having a ball at Gymboree. But it sure does wear out momma and daddy, but as long as my children are having fun. I also took some pics of some of the other kids who have been in the class since the beginning.
Gary said I could go to the retreat in April, Yahoo! My goal is to get a lot of pages done on the girls scrapbooks. I am already starting to plan now for what I am doing.
Well, I gotta go put the girls in bed. Happy Sunday!

Presley Loves the Cow

Okay, here is the pictures of Presley and the cow I promised.

Fun in the Square

We went to Southlake Town Square today. The girls were really good. Yes, I am crazy to let them out of their stroller but they really did well.
They loved the water fountain and picking the flowers. I couldn't get them to stop picking the flowers. Finally, I deterred them with the water fountain.
They would pick up all kinds of things off the ground, especially Presley, she is my scavenger. She loves to stop in mid walk to pick things up. That is great for momma because I have time to get Brooke who is the one that runs everywhere she goes and tends to fall a lot because she is in a hurry and doesn't take her time. But all in all they did great. I would take them again because there was a lot to keep their attention in a small space. They didn't wander off too far. They both loved the cows. They would go up to them and say aghhh! and give them a hug. I will post Presley's cow pic because blogger wouldn't let me post any more pics on this post. We originally went so momma could get some new dress pants because I am still an 8 (I know it sounds like I am bragging but, I am) and have no dress pants that fit. I have to attend the Dental Convention next weekend. I haven't started my diet but I still haven't gained anymore weight. I think I would like to get to a size 6 and hopefully stay there. They did not want to shop today. I went in picked out 2 pairs of pants tried them on and paid for the 1 pair and we were on our way so they could be outside. They love being outside right now. When someone goes out the door they stand by it and cry because, guess what, they want ot GO OUTSIDE.
I have been doing some trainings and Grandma comes to watch the girls. (Thank You Pat)
It is nice to get out and easier than staying home and doing the momma thing. Don't get me wrong I am so thankful to spend the time with my wonderful children but it really does wear me out. Those who say, "stay at home moms have the hardest job" are so right I can vouch for it.
I don't ever remember being as tired as I have been lately, when I worked. even when I worked all my parttime jobs. Enough about me.
Brooke has started stomping her feet when she doesn't get her way and Presley throws her head back and she doesn't care where she is so, it usually involves a bump on the noggin.
I started reading a book on discipline so I can handle my children and so they grow up respectful and not brats. I may look back at this and laugh someday. But hopefully not. Brooke also will take toys and even Presley's sippy away from her. I am working on her with this issue. She is a little Bully. Presley sees her coming and will sometimes hand over whatever she has to Brooke.(so sad). Presley is learning, I do see her push Brooke sometimes. She needs to learn to defend herself from her sister.
I do have to say that they play very well together and it does allow me to get some things done.
I have been doing some of my cleaning a little each day. But I sure do miss my maid. I know I am spoiled but I will give up doing other stuff to have my maid. I never realized how much I love her until she is gone. She will be back in Feb. (I hope).
Back to the pictures. I love the two where they are looking down at their flowers they just illegally picked. Some of the pictures the lighting is not good or the sun is in the wrong spot but It is hard to make them stand where I don't have hot spots. But I still like the pics because, of course, they are of my children and my precious memories. Whew what a long post. I guess that is what I get for waiting too long to post. Have a wonderful weekend.

My Little Bunny

Hello,
The girls received these towels for Christmas. Presley loved hers. She was so precious she walked around with a big smile and was laughing her little fake laugh. I do have to say she was adorable. Brooke would not leave hers on, her towel is a cat. Of course, she was the one that wouldn't leave her hat on either when I had their one year pics done. Brooke kept pulling the towel off of Presley, as you see in the photo. She is such a bully.
Presley is cutting three new teeth and I have a feeling Brooke will be cutting more soon. I will be so glad when they get their back teeth so I don't have to watch what I give them. It is really hard at this stage because I feel like I give them the same foods. I have been changing it up some. I am trying to give them fresh instead of canned vegetables. Presley is my good eater she will eat anything, even lima beans and beets. Brooke likes her fruits and vegetables and doesn't care as much for meats. I did give them fish today and they both loved it. That makes me feel a little better.
Gary and I took the girls to the park on Saturday and I am a bad mommy because I forgot my camera. They had a ball. They loved the baby swings. Brooke had so much fun she didn't want to leave. She cried all the way to the store. She was so upset. She loves to be outside. She is the one that is going to wear me out.
The girls moved up to the Toddlers class at Church on Sunday. They really love going to church, so far they haven't cried. Praise God!
Well, I am caught up from not posting. It is harder to post these days so please forgive me and bear with me.

Good Food and Friends

Here are some of the pics I promised. This is the same group that is invited every year to New Years Day dinner. It is so much fun to see the children interact. We don't get to see everyone too often because we live all over the Metroplex so it is hard to get together. Thank you Carole for making such a great meal. It was all so wonderful and Gary thought it was the best kraut he has ever had. Carole is from Pennsylvania and they have sauerkraut for Good Luck instead of black-eyed-peas. Hey, it works for me I'll have anything to bring me luck in the coming year. Oh my goodness, Brooke and Presley must have played really hard last night because they slept until 8:00 this morning (they never sleep that late) It was rather nice but it threw me off today because I am use to getting started earlier. I must be a creature of habit. I just realized I didn't crop the picture with the girls, too bad I am too tired to fix it. I just finished mopping and cleaning because my maid had surgery today and will be out for 4 weeks. (Ugh!) It will be the longest 4 weeks. I am trying to stay on top of it and do a little each day so it's not so much because I have to do most of it when the girls go to bed. So, speaking of bed I am tired and headed there myself. Goodnight.

New Red Wagon

Here are some cute pictures of Brooke and Presley in their new wagon. They like taking a ride in their wagon.
They love to go outside now. If they see one of us putting on a jacket or grabbing our keys they know we are leaving. Brooke will run to the door and start to cry because she wants to go. I guess that is my fault for taking them out so much. Oh well! I had a fun time at Ten Seconds today. It was really relaxing. Gary said the girls were good. Thank goodness for that because it makes it easier for me to get out again. As soon as I got home we left for a New Year's Dinner. It was great to see everyone and their children. It is amazing how big all the kids are getting. We took some group photos. I will post those tomorrow. I am tired and going to bed. I hope everyone had a safe New Year. My New Year's Resolution is to get back on my diet, start working out at the gym, have more patience with my husband, and get closer to God.
Good Night!
