5th Birthday Party

The girls wanted an Art Party so we had their 5th Birthday at Sunshine Glaze and everyone made a plate for Santa’s Cookies. I was amazed at how quiet it was while all the kids were painting. They were awesome and all the plates were just as good. We decided to invite their whole class and a few friends for a total of 17 kids. They had a great time and Brooke even told me that it was the best party ever! I love when they are happy, it warms my heart.

We sang Happy Birthday and I forgot to sing it twice for each girl. They won’t remember but I will have to get it right next year.

Family pictures are always on the top of my list. Thanks to Brenda for taking all the pictures, I was a little busy. We both decided we would take on the job of photographer at each of our kids birthdays. It really took a load off not having to worry about taking pictures. I was able to really enjoy their party. Thank you sweet friend.

These were the plates the birthday girls got with all of their friends fingerprints and names. It is such a neat idea and they will cherish these for a long time. These just might have to be their plates they eat on on their actual birthday. I love starting traditions and this one will be a special one.

Here are a few of the other master pieces. I think they are following in Rembrandt’s Footsteps. Only a few did actual Christmas themes but after all it is their work of art and they can do what they want with them.

1st Lost Tooth

Brooke came to me right before lunch and said her tooth was really wiggly. I had made her a ham sandwich for lunch and she couldn’t bite into it at all. I also gave her some chips and she was eating them and I informed her she should eat them on the side of her mouth so it didn’t hurt her tooth. She quickly said, no mama, I want to chew on my loose tooth so it will make it come out. Smart girl! She was not worried one bit about it hurting. She bit into a chip and said it feels funny. I looked at her tooth and it was barely hanging on, I got a paper towel and pulled on the tooth slightly and it came out. The smile on Brooke’s face was as big as ever. She was so excited and said, That didn’t even hurt. She was ready for that tooth to be out so the Tooth fairy could come to see her. Presley has lost three teeth to Brooke’s one tooth. She was a little worried when she started eating her sandwich and saw a little blood on her bread but I told her that was normal and it would stop just as fast as it started. It was not much at all but to her it was “Blood.” She was so brave and such a big girl. I know one girl who will be happy when she wakes in the morning and minus one tooth.

Pre Birthday Party Photos

I had the girls Birthday early this year because it gets so crazy around Thanksgiving. I bought these adorable outfits and had to get some photos before we left for their birthday party. They were precious and loving the attention. I am so lucky to have these two precious girls in my life and wouldn’t trade one minute of it. I love you so much and cherish the time we get to spend together.

Halloween With Friends

We were invited to a friends home to Trick or Treat. We tend to always go somewhere other than our neighborhood. It was great to spend Halloween with such good friends and meeting new friends is always fun for such a social person like me. My motto is always, the more the merrier and I hope my girls follow in those same foot steps. As you can see it looks like they are doing a pretty good job.

I love any opportunity to take pictures with the girls. These are special because they are getting so big and before I know it they will be going off to college so I cherish these sweet moments.

Trick or Treating was fun this year because they seemed more excited. Or was I just enjoying watching my children have such a fun time with their friends that I noticed the excitement. Either way we all enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Michelle for the invitation. It was a Halloween I will always remember.

Another Halloween is over. I hid their candy and they didn’t even ask for it today. Let’s see how long that last.
