Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween!
The girls had a blast. They did way better than I expected. Aleck came over and Brooke and Presley were excited to see him. None of them said Trick or Treat but they definitely got the hang of it really quick. They were all too cute. The first house we stopped was our next door neighbors and we went inside the house so the rest of the houses they thought we were suppose to go in the home. So funny. We also had a visitor, Joni came buy to see all of the kids in their costumes. That was a nice treat and speaking of treats she brought the girls favorite candy "Smarties", needless to say the girls were happy when they saw them. Thanks Joni. It was a great evening. The kids did endulge in too much candy but after all it is Halloween. Brooke was eating her candy through the package. They should all sleep well tonight, I hope.

Pumpkin Play

I had to take the girls to the Pumpkin Farm again because I didn't get as many good pictures as I wanted and it was something else fun to do. The girls are starting to really get things. They totally understand. It definitely makes my life a little easier. Presley was the cutest with the pumpkins. She got a wagon and pulled it around until she found the small pumpkins and filled her wagon with the pumpkins and then she proceeded to pull it around everywhere. It was quite heavy but she wouldn't leave it. She also reminded me a little of myself when I saw her arranging her pumpkins so they were nice and orderly in her wagon and then realized she had enough room for one more. Can you say OCD, like her mommy. It really made me realize they do pick up your quirky personality traits and I feel I better be better with those traits I don't want them to pick up. Wow, amazing little life!
Brooke was so attached to the tractors. There were two of them and she had to get on both of them. She loved the big one as you can see from the picture. Presley wanted up there with her, so I placed Presley next to Brooke on the seat and you would have thought I just spanked Brooke because she cried so hard. She pushed Presley while saying "move". She did not want to share the tractor with her sister. I think that is a sign of things to come with my sweet little girls. I have my work cut out for me. Whew, I am already tired thinking about it. I cherish every moment with them and hate that they are no longer babies. They are truly becoming little girls. They are talking more and more and repeating things I say. They are really starting to be so much fun. I thank God daily for giving me these healthy children and realize how lucky I am for these special little beings.
We met Aleck at the Pumpkin Patch, I have so many more pictures I will post those later because since tomorrow is Halloween, I will have to post the adorable picture of my two cute Ladybugs!
Have a safe and Happy Halloween!

Up, Up, and Up

Well, the girls have learned how to climb on the bed. I am in for it now. Another milestone that makes me realize how fast they grow. I am so lucky to have two healthy babies. Thank you God, for giving me these two healthy happy children.
This will be there first real Halloween. I can't wait to see how they react. They are going to be "ladybugs." The cutest ladybugs I have ever seen. Oh no, I am not biased. Thanks for looking.

Hello! long time no post. I went on a retreat this weekend so I wasn't able to post.

Move Over

This will be a short post. I have not been feeling well. I went to the ER on Sat. evening and was dignosed with Diverticulitis. I am seeing a specialist tomorrow. This is the second time in 8 months to have this issue. Not good for me.
The girls are really starting to have their own little personalities and that means becoming little toots. But they are still just as cute as ever.
We had family pictures on Saturday and they were so cute.
I am off to bed.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Hall's Pumpkin Patch on Saturday. It was a last minute decision. I didn't even change the girls clothes to somethng more festive. Gary promised me we would go again so I can dress them appropriately and take more pictures. I got a few pics but still need that one good one. The girls were adorable loading small pumpkins nto the wagon and as they were loading them Gary was taking them out. It was too cute. They never even wondered where the pumpkins were going they just kept bringing them over. We went through the corn maze and let me tell you with two toddlers it took a long time to get through that maze. They had to pick stuff up, sit in the dirt, and just play. I think it added an extra 20 minutes to our maze time. But it was all worth it because after all what else did we have to do but spend it with our wonderful children. It was a great day. When we got home we played outside and got our pumpkins out of the car and as you can see from the picture Bailey was lioving the pumpkins as well. The girls thought that was so funny when he carried one of the pumpkins away. We had to put a stop to that really quick so he didn't ruin any of the pumpkins with teeth marks and he definitely came close.
I have been so busy making the girls invitations that I haven't had time to blog.I have spent every night since my last blog entry holed up in my craft room being creative. After spending so much time in my room I have realized I really need to paint and fix it up more so it looks like a craft room. I have it organized but need to decorate it.
I went to see Tim Holtz at Michaels on Sat. and I have to say I love him. I want to be a female Tim but I know I will never be as good as him but I sure can copy his work and add my own flare. That will be good enough for me right now.
I must get to bed the girls are out of school tomorrow. Goodnight!

Cuties

Whew, I can breathe. The girls are feeling much better. I have been a busy caretaker.
I have also been doing Defensive Driving online so my evenings have been taken up with a lot of reading and watching videos. It took a lot longer than I had thought. I took the test today and boy am I glad it is over.
I have also been working on the girls invitations and if I do say so myself they are quite cute. I will post a picture when I am finished.
We are having an issue with the girls waking up several times in the night. I don't understand why but all I know is Gary and I are planning a day on the weekend to resolve the issue and let them cry it out. It is really hard because they don't wake up at the same time all the time so when one wakes up I rush in there so the other child doesn't wake up. By the time it is said and done they have both woken up from 4-6 times in the night. I am sleep deprived again and I have forgotten how much I love my sleep. I have got to get a handle on this issue and fast.
I love these pictures the girls were so cute and happy. I am the luckiest person in the world to have such adorable kids.

Watch Out Stevie Wonder

We had such a fun time with Aleck and Beebee. The girls loved the Piano especially Presley. Beebee made us lunch an can I tell you how nice it was to have a break from making lunch. We decided we would trade out making lunch for playdates. It's a small break but such a special one. Thanks Beebee!
The girls are sick. I went to Creative Buffet this morning and was there for 45 minutes when I recieved a phone call from the girls school. Brooke had a rash but no fever. I went to pick her up and when I arrived they let me know she had vomitted. We went straight to the doctors office. They said there is a virus going around but they also tested her for strep (neg). We went to the pharmacy to pick up her medicine and went home.Brooke got sick one more time when we got home. We were home for 45 min and the school called and said Presley had vomitted also. When I picked Brooke up she was fine so I thought it would be much easier on me to only take one child to the doctors office and man it was easier. So we headed to the school to get Presley. We arrived home and they both fell asleep on the couch. They slept for a couple of hours. They woke up played for a little bit, I fed them something bland and gave them a bath and they went back to bed with not one tear or any fuss. Bless there little hearts. I hate when they are sick.
we got some good news today at the girls school because of the economy the school has gone down on their tuition. We will be saving $171.00. Yahoo! Can you believe the goodness in people even in these times. God is good!
Well off to shower and bed I have a feeling I will be up alot tonight.

Dot Dot

I bought the girls these dauber inks for a new craft project we could do at home. They used them this summer in school and loved them so I knew it would be a hit at home. They call it "Dot Dot" and let me tell you when it is time to put them up they both cry big crocodile tears. They also get warnings quite often becasue Presley will put them in her mouth and other body parts. Brooke will daub it on the table and chairs. I will give both of them warnings and then when I take them away you would think the world came to an end. It is so sad to watch them be so upset but maybe someday they will understand the consequences. They will go and sit at there table and say Dot Dot when they want to play. They are just the cutest to girls right now. I am so loving this stage.
