Double Trouble

We had a fun Sat. evening because Clay and Josh came over and the girls really had a fun time. I love the first picture because it looks like they are "The Queens of the Sandbox." That isn't at all the real story but if you didn't know it the picture tells the story. Brooke and Presley like to stand on the sandbox right before I remove the lid and Clay and Josh were just watching what they were doing. I love to watch kids play, it is so interesting and especially to capture it on film. They were all so dirty and we decided it would be easier if we gave them a bath together and they had a blast. Of course, we won't be able to do that when they are older but love that we can take advantage of it now. They will hate that picture some day.

Miss Photogenic

My little Brookie was so cute today as you can see from the photos. She was so excited Aleck was over to play. Presley on the other hand was a little clingy. I have come to realize she gets that way when daddy is gone. He will be back tonight late. She will be so happy to see him in the morning. We had a great day today.

Little Cowgirls

We bought the girls pink cowboy hats at the balloon festival. I think they are so adorable and of course Brooke wouldn't leave her hat on her head. Presley on the other hand was a little ham.
I have not felt well all day long, I have been nautious. It reminds me of when I was pregnant and I am not liking this feeling. I just started on some different pills and I think that is the reason because I am so sensitive to new meds.
I am off to bed early because I know the girls will wake up because that is the norm lately.

Not Me Monday

MckMama from My Charming Kids has started this Not Me Monday. If you haven't been to her blog, I encourage you to do so. But please don't be mad at me when you stay up late because you are reading her blog. Please, before you go check it out say a much needed prayer for Stellan.

Okay, peeps bare with me on this little fun game.
I am totally addicted to this blog and thought I would play along.

I did not just scroll down on McMama's blog to find Brenda's name to read her post because I knew she would be playing this game. Thanks Brenda for showing me this wonderful blog. Thanks MckMama for always keeping it real. I love you for that.

I did not take two, yes TWO naps today while my kids were in Mother's Day Out today.
Just to clarify my girls kept me up all night last night. Whew, I feel better by telling you that so you all wouldn't think I was a lazy bum.

I did not leave the house earlier than usual this morning just so I could have my children confined while I drove through Starbucks to get another much needed cup of coffee.

I did not put my children in bed with me last night. How do I stop the madness?

I did not eat 10 oreo cookies today. But while doing it enjoyed every minute of it. Can you say weakness?

I did not, I repeat did not stay up late just to play this silly fun loving game. Of course, I had to read other comments so I could get my brain to thinking.

Balloon Festival

Here are the pictures from the Balloon Fest. I took more of the ballons but thought I would show you my favorite, the Flower. I love the picture of daddy and the girls. The one with daddy in the bounce house with Brooke is because he had to go in and get her because she wouldn't come out. Too funny! We had a fun time and I think the girls really enjoyed themselves.
I have more cute pics but will post later.
Thanks for looking.

Move On Over

I am so behind on my posting. People, please forgive me but my life is always crazy when Gary is out of town. He got home late Friday evening. we went to the Plano Balloon Festival this morning and was suppose to leave our house by 5:45am but didn't leave until 6:30am becuase dumb me set the alarm but forgot to check the volume, it was all the way down. we rushed out so fast I didn't even brush the girls hair. I know, can you believe me of all people didn't brush their hair. we were in a hurry and I am sure it won't be the last time. The funny thing is Gary kept saying we didn't need to get up so early and anal me insisted because I don't like to miss a thing. Guess what? He won. the thing is if you don't get there by 7:00am all the balloons are usually gone. But we got lucky because there was a delay so I could relax a bit in the car on the way over when we heard about the delay. Yes, this is a glimpse into the life of a person who is compulsive, yes, its me but I am not sorry it just makes it harder on poor Gary.
These pictures are from the play date the other day. It was so cute Aleck inched his way into the stroller and eventually Presley was out and she was not happy. But that is Presley's life lately. Remeber, she is my little fit thrower and she can throw herself down onto the ground so fast and scream and all the other stuff that goes along with a fit. I think I will leave it to the imagination.
As you can see Brooke is still attached to her paci and I still hate it but I decided I have to take pictures of her with that darn paci so I can use them later (just kidding).
Aleck, of course is so adorable and the girls still love and talk about him all the time.
The picture of Presley makes me laugh because it looks like a picture from the seventys. Look at the hair (move over John Travolta). It looks like it is parted down the middle and man will it feather. What do you think? Am I right. LOL!
I am hoping to get caught up on my pictures next week. I have Stamp Club tomorrow at my house so it won't be happening tomorrow.
Enjoy your Sunday.

My Birthday

Yesterday was my Birthday and it was a great day. The girls were in school so I had the day to myself. I had an impromptu lunch with a friend, Brenda and Aleck came over for a playdate, Joni stopped by with chocolate cupcakes (yummy), and my husband sent me chocolates and flowers. I also celebrated with friends on Friday evening and had birthday cake and of course, presents. Thanks, Rita and Julie for thinking of me. You both are so dear to me. It was a perfect birthday except for one thing my husband was missing because he is out of town. But he surpised me with the flowers. He usually doesn't do that because he says they just die and he is right but they were exactly what I like and of course, what woman doesn't like Chocolates. Thanks honey, I love you!
We took pictures with the girls and I and the cupcakes and we had to include Aleck. He was so cute. The best part about that was I got to make two wishes instead of one. Sorry, I don't tell my wishes.
I let the girls split a cupcake. They mostly played with it. They aren't real fond of chocolate,. I am not sure they are my children because they don't like chocolate. Oh well, more for me!
Thanks to everyone who made my Birthday special and thanks to Brenda for feeding my children that evening. They were exceptionally fussy yesterday and I appreciate the little things that were done to make it easier on me. They have been so tired since they have been going to school 4 days instead of 2. I have been putting them down at 7:30 with no wimpers and yes, I love it because it gives me an extra 30 minutes.
I went to scrapstashers today and had so much fun it was so relaxing and I loved the project. I saw the upcoming classes and if you haven't seen them, they are amazing I want to take all of them.
Well, I must get busy with other things. This is my life now. I would love to blog stalk tonight but I stay up too late reading those darn blogs.

Fun With Friends

We had a playdate with Aleck on Wed. Boy, was it humid outside but we all had fun inspite of the humidity. I love the individual pictures of the kids. Brooke looks like she is mad. Presley just looks so sweet but don't let her fool you. Aleck is just too darn cute. I love the pic of him, I don't know what it is with sideview pictures but they are always my favorites when I go back and view my pictures. I used my big lens and forgot how much I enjoy it. I need to pull it out more often.
I feel so bad because as soon as Aleck and Brenda left Brooke got sick (vomiting) I called Brenda immediately to let her know. It is so weird because she didn't act sick. It is crazy how it can just pop up out of nowhere. Presley got sick in the middle of the night. Nothing like to vomiting children. It happened 3 times for the both of them and the next day they were fine. Thank the Lord. I know too much info. But they missed school so they are definitely going tomorrow. Lessoned learned when I have big plans for a weekend get my most important things done early in the week. I have a busy day tomorrow. I am going to a friends Wedding Party on Sat evening. So I have to run all my errands in 6 hours. Mimi is going to spend the night with the girls. They are going to have fun. Happy Friday!!!

Little Smarties

The girls are addicted to " Smarties". We were in the car and they were fussing and I remembered I had some smarties in the diaper bag so I gave them some and they loved them especially Prelsey. The next time I gave them to them they were sitting at the dining room table so everytime Presley wants some smarties she will go to the dining room table and pat her hand on the table. It is funny because she goes to the same chair she was in the day I gave them to her.
She wants them all the time. She will hoard them in her hand and try to steel her sisters smarties until Brooke catches her, then the fight is on. I should have never given them the first one. It seems I have been saying that a lot lately. I must becoming a softy. I better pull it together before they walk all over me. I was just telling Gary the other day I think I am going to have to get mean. I know that sounds bad but not real mean just a little stern. I want them to know when I mean business and not walk all over me.
Divine Consign is over and I did well. I spent more than I made but buying the big yard toy was what put me over the edge but the way I look at it, we have their Birthday and some Christmas as well as a ton of clothes. I will only have to buy a few things. What a deal. I highly reccommend for any of you who have children to buy or sell items from this sale. It is a great sale. www.divineconsign.net
I had my teeth cleaned this afternoon and it was good to see everyone I use to work with, we even went to eat Sushi for lunch. That was a real treat because Gary and I very rarely get to eat Sushi anymore.
I love the picture of Brooke with her feet on the table. She is just so cute right now. That picture was taken when I first bought the table and chairs and brought it home. She just sat in the chair and parked her feet right on top of the table. She's my Queen "B"
I am beat so off to bed.

Chalk, Chalk, Chalk

The girls were helping daddy clean out his truck. He doesn't seem to think they were much help. I brought out the sidewalk chalk and can you guess who loves it the most. if you guessed Brooke, you are right. the next morning she saw the chalk on the driveway and wanted to draw. I tried to tell her we would draw after school but of course she doesn't understand that yet. They only understand the here and now and most of the time it is right now! It took me a while to get her in the car but I did and we were late for school. So I came home and washed the driveway off so she wouldn't see it when she arrived home later.
Presley eats the chalk. I know you are not surprised because everything goes in her mouth. I think that is why she is sick more than Brooke. Her mouth was blue from eating the chalk. It has to taste so bad ut obviously not because she continued to eat it.
Brooke crawled up into daddy's truck and wanted to help. Daddy learned real quick to shut the passenger door so she couldn't bother him. The picture is a little blurry but it is the only one I got where she is looking my way.
I have been busy with the Divine Consign sale so I haven't been able to enjoy my days as much with the girls in school, next week will be a better week. Maybe I can do something for me instead of everyone else. Hmmm, I hear a pedicure chair calling my name.

More Fun Times

More pics of Paradise Pond.
The last few are from last weeks playdate with Beebee and Aleck.
Brooke is really attached to Aleck. We went to school yesterday and she kept saying Aleck to this blond little boy. I informed the teacher Aleck is her friend and he has red hair so i don't get where she thought the blond boy was Aleck, maybe because he was a boy. Oh well!
Brooke and Presley have learned to climb up onto the changing table. It scares me because it could tip over onto them, so we have shut the door to their room and they will only go in there when mamma is with them. Thank goodness they don't know how to open doors yet. That's my saving grace. But I know it is short lived.
I am off to help an office with their Xrays.
