The questions kids will ask!
Brooke- Mommy if I get a crick in my neck will my head fall off?
Me- No Brooke, your head will not fall off.
This question was looming in her head for a while because one night she had two pillows stacked on top of one another and I told her she would get a crick in her neck if she slept with two pillows. She is so darn cute. I hope she never stops asking me those cute little questions.
We play Slug Bug in the car all the time and little Miss Presley is so good at this game. She can remember how many every one in the car has spotted. The first soccer game Presley spotted a Slug Bug in the parking lot and proceeded to yell to me "Slug Bug," while on the soccer field during a game. She was so excited and flashed her big smile and continued playing soccer.

Goals And More Goals!
The girls had a soccer game at 9:00 on Saturday morning. I meant to bring my camera and walked off and forgot it. I was so mad that I did because Brooke scored 2 goals and Presley scored 1 goal and had a great play. They have come a long way and really enjoy playing. They really are getting into soccer which I never thought would happen, at least from Presley, because when the ball came to her last season she would turn and walk away from it. The whole team played well and they looked like they were a team and knew what they were doing. The sweetest thing is when the game ends the coach will call them over and they will yell "Ladybugs" it is precious to hear those little voices saying their team name. Good game Brooke and Presley, mommy and daddy are so proud of you.

Demon
We went to see Athen's horse and the girls were so excited they couldn't quit talking about it. They were out of school for Parent/Teacher conferences and they asked me fifty times when we were going to see Demon.
Demon is such a sweet horse. Brooke fed him some apples and Presely decided she didn't want to feed him. She was more impressed with the chicken eggs she found. They carried them around and of course Brooke was the one to drop both of her eggs. We decided to take the other two eggs to Mr. Pete so he could have them for breakfast. They enjoy spending time with Athen and she is so sweet to entertain the girls. She always gives them a stuffed animal and the girls love that about her. Thank you Athen for sharing Demon with us today. It was a great visit.

Goodbye Aunt Judy
Gary's Aunt Judy has battled cancer for several years even though the cancer didn't taker her, a nasty infection was the culprit. She was a fighter and the strongest person I know. She always had a smile on her face. She will be missed. Rest in peace Judy.

Creating At The Little Blue House!
The Mom and Me Class was really fun. We made a Spring Paperbag Book. It was right up Presley's alley. She loves to create and craft. Brooke enjoys it but loses interest pretty fast. I had to finish Brooke's book. They both saw the stamp pads and thought we were going to stamp. They kept saying I want to stamp but it wasn't stamping it was inking the edges of the book. Elaine and I thought we could skip that step with them but they saw other people doing it and wanted to do it also. You can't pass anything by them. I am so proud of them they were so good and listened to Elaine. My little girls are growing up.

A Crafty Moment
I love this picture. Susan's face says it all.
Presley's Flower
Brooke's Flower
Our Spring Break started with a trip to The Little Blue House for their open house. On the way over I was telling the girls we were going to The Little Blue House and Presley proceeded to ask me if it was for little people as I chuckled I said, "no it was for big people." She then said, "well then it should be called The Big Blue House because big people are there. I just laughed and explained the name further. I love how their little minds work.
They both wanted to make the cute flower. I was so proud of the both of them. They both cut their own flower out and spritzed their flower of course with Susan's help. I was so surprised the colors they chose were so similar because they are usually opposite in their choices. They really enjoyed creating their little master pieces.
I ran into Bobbi Jackson and her granddaughter Zoe. They were all precious and seemed like they were instant friends.
Thanks to The Little Blue House for letting my children enjoy a creative moment. A special thanks to Susan for her patience it truely shows in the pictures. We are all so excited to come back on Wednesday for the Mom and Me class. It warms my heart to see my children follow in my footsteps.

It was another fun scrapbook weekend. I started my second blog book and just had fun. Of course I ate too much and had some great laughs. I always cherish this time with these girls and look forward to it twice a year. I didn't get as much done because I was having some pain on my left side and thought it was my ovaries. I started feeling yucky on Sunday evening and it continued on Monday. Brooke was at home sick and I took her to the doctor Monday afternoon, by that time, I was having some severe pain and decided I needed to go to the ER. I dropped Brooke off at home and headed to the ER. I was diagnosed with diverticulitis again. They gave me IV antibiotics and sent me home with more prescriptions. I was in bed all day on Tuesday and am better today but still not myself. I have this issue every 6-7 months. I need surgery but am putting it off because it is a major surgery. But I may need to have it sooner than later.Send some healing prayers my way.

The Bedford Library
We had a fun day at the Library with The Brooks Family. Thank goodness Brenda brought her camera because I didn't have mine and I love to capture all the sweet moments. Brooke and Presley love to go to the Library but it was even more fun with friends. Ella was absolutely adorable but I don't think the Library patrons liked how loud we were.
