It snowed on Christmas Eve and the girls had a great time in the snow. It was a cold and blistery snow but we had to get out in it anyway because I couldn't believe that it actually snowed and was sticking. We were only out there for a little while but I loved every minute that I could see my girls enjoying themselves with something that comes around once in a blue moon. SNOW! I am so giddy writing this because I still can't believe that we had a white Christmas. Thank you God for the wonderful snowfall and letting me see it through my childrens eyes.
We had to cancel Christmas Eve with the family because of the weather. It was really nice to spend Christmas eve wih our children and enjoy the evening not so rushed. We played in the snow, took family pictures by the Christmas tree, put out reindeer food, cookies for Santa, and watched the girls play. It was great quality family time. I cherish these moments becuase I know before long the girls will be grown and these moments will be less and less. I hope they always want to spend time with their Mom and Dad. That reminds me, Brooke has started calling me mom, I am not so thrilled about it because I love being called, "Mommy." It just shows me she is growing up.
