Fun Times

We had a wonderful Father's Day but of course I haven't loaded my pictures from the day so here are some I took earlier in the week.
Presley loves this little rocking horse. She goes so fast and high on it I always think she is going to tip it over. She just started leaning her head back last week. She is so funny, she cracks me up.
Brooke is always getting herself in spaces she can't get herself out . Right after I took the picture of her under the slide it tipped over and she got stuck and couldn't get out. She also loves to take the blanket off of the couch and cover up with it. Lately she gets really frustrated when she can't get it just right. I think she has a lot of me in her.
The last picture is of the girls helping daddy blow up some pool toys. They were so curious and wondering what he was doing.
I went to see Sex And The City on Friday with Brenda. It was nice to have some girl time.
It's time for bed. Thanks for looking.

Having Fun With Aleck

We had another play date with Aleck and Presley has reached another milestone. She knows the word "NO" and used it often during their play time. She didn't like Aleck playing with the piano and she would say, no, no, no, no. She just started that on Tuesday. I would tell her it was okay if Aleck played with the piano and she still didn't want him to play. They are starting to get possessive of their toys. My sweet Presley, she was the one that would hand Brooke a toy as soon as she saw Brooke heading towards her because she knew she was going to take it away from her. I guess she is tired of it and standing up for herself and taking it out on poor Aleck. Sorry Aleck. Brooke is starting to be my shy one. It takes her a while to warm up. She adored Aleck. She kept giving him a hug and a kiss. So cute! I am so glad he is such a good natured child. Beause he has a lover and a fighter on his hands when he comes to our house. Aleck loved Brooke and Prelsey's babies (Lily and Bella). He wanted to hold them and the girls were not up for that, especially Presley (of course). We tried to give him a different baby but he wanted Lily or Bella. Kids are too smart. It was so sweet to watch them all play. I think they played well together except for Presley having to express herself so well. By the end of the day Aleck was mocking Prelsey and it was too funny. He also said night night for the first time. It is just amazing to see the interaction, confusion, and excitement while they play. Oh, to be a kid again.
Thanks Brenda for sharing your son with my children, they really enjoy spending time with him.
I enjoyed our time together as well, adult conversation is wonderful and good for the soul.
I have a training tomorrow morning so I have to get the girls stuff ready for school. They get to play in the sprinklers tomorrow and have popsicles. Did I mention, I love Mothers Day Out!
Goodnight.

Precious Girls

I love this picture of Brooke in her Daddy's hat. She loves to wear his hats. She will take them on and off of daddy and then put them on her own head. I love Presley's little pose. She has become a little teaser. She will have Brooke's bunny and hold it out for Brooke to grab and then pull it away from her and laugh. She does that more than once. She makes me laugh.
The girls are loving Mother's Day Out and so is Mommy! The time goes by so fast. I always think that I am going to take a nap but there isn't enough time because I get busy getting the things I want done and before you know it, it is time to pick them up.
I also think that on one of those days I am going to do nothing but be lazy. Not! I can't bring myself to do that. I have projects that I want done. Maybe when all the projects are finished.

Corn On The Cob

I love all of these pictures. Presley's smile is so big in this picture it makes her eyes shine. Brooke is always into something or finding different ways to experience her toys as you can see from the picture.
I gave the girls corn on the cob for the first time and they thought it was the neatest thing but didn't really know exactly what to do with it. I had to tell them to bite into it. Presley was bored really fast with the corn and started dropping it on the floor. She got a real kick out of that and laughed so hard. I did get a picture of Presley eating the corn but all of them her eyes were closed and I loved her expression on the picture with the corn on the cob.
I bought the girls some sun glasses. Presely is better about leaving them on than Brooke. But it still isn't much longer. Brooke is the one who doesn't like the sun but she will not leave them on.
She also closes her eyes when she has them on. It is so funny to watch her.
Please say a prayer for my sister-in-law Dottie. They are doing an invitro procedure tomorrow.
Pray that everything goes well and that the embryos take and she becomes pregnant. (with twins) Heehee! That would be neat to have another set of twins in the family.
I am off to bed. Goodnight!

Mother's Day Out

The girls had their first day of Mother's Day Out on monday and they did wonderful. When I picked them up they said their were no tears.
When we dropped them off I had to go buy their nap mats in the office and when we came beck to put the mats in their classroom they were leaving to go to music class. They both saw us but didn't care because they were too busy holding hands with their classmates. I am so mad I didn't get a picture but it happen too fast. I was trying to hurry so they didn't get upset by seeing us. We watched them for a whle and they seem to be having fun. It was so cute to just watch them inneract with other kids. This was the only good picture I got. I took others but they were not blog worthy.
The second picture was so cute because Presley was laying on the couch drinking her milk and Brooke crawled up and laid next to her to drink her milk. So sweet. Brooke is so sweet to Presley. She is more affectionate to her than Presley is to Brooke. I know so weird. Brooke will kiss and hug Presley but Presley doesn't do it to Brooke. Presley will kiss mom and dad all the time but Brooke only does it when she chooses. So funny. Brooke bit Presley for the first time this morning. I hope it doesn't happen again.
I made sure to tell them at school so they could watch for it. Thank goodness all was well.
Goodnight I am off to bed.

Swimming With Friends

I am behind on my posting. Last Sunday, we took the girls to the Woodruffs house to swim. They have a beach entry with a water spout. The girls really enjoyed their pool. They also played on their swing set as well as jumped on their trampoline. They both loved the trampoline. Sorry I have no pictures because my camera battery went dead. Jill got some good pics on the trampoline. I will show those to you when she sends them to me. Brooke and Presley laughed so hard on the trampoline. It was too cute. Daddy said, we would have to get them a trampoline because they were so adorable. Of course, not anytime soon. I think we can wait on that purchase for a while. The girls loved playing with Erin and Jensen. We had a fun filled weekend.

Yummy

I just had to post all my favorite popsicle pictures. The picture of the two of them with their mouths open is right before we gave them their popsicle. They didn't know what to think.
I love the one where Presley has hers on the ground. She was so cute with her popsicle. I don't think she ate very much of it but she sure did enjoy playing with it. The picture where Brooke is putting her hands together is her sign for more. We had just taken her popsicle away because we thought she was done and obviuosly she wasn't finished. She wasn't too upset. We gave them a quick water hose bath and took them inside and boy were they tired. The girls went to bed and they were out as soon as their heads hit their pillows. Oh, to be a kid again. I would love to experience all that they are experiencing again.
I have a feeling we will be in the sprinkler alot this summer. After the last couple of days it might be everyday. Well, I am off to bed. Thanks for looking. :)

So Much Fun

Clay and Josh came over on Sat. We had so much. We ate watermelon, played in the sprinkler, had a wagon ride and the girls had their first popsicle. Presley was a little more reserve with hers. She held it for the longest and would barely lick it. Then she would touch it to the ground. Brooke was all into the popsicle. She was in heaven. It was a fun day and everyone played well together.

Water Fun

I went to Target the other day and decided the girls needed a water sprinkler. I found one and I named him Mr. Wiggle. They absolutely had a blast. I took so many pictures that I couldn't pick so I posted a bunch. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. We played in the sprinkler two days in a row. I wasn't going to let them play tonight but they found Mr Wiggle in the garage and guess what they played in the water. These are the battles I love. It was so much fun watching them. I think I had a permanent smile on my face. I just can't believe how much I enjoy watching them explore and see things for the first time. They are really getting to a fun stage and I find myself wanting things to slow down so I can enjoy these moments for a bit longer. They grow so fast. The picture of Presley holding her nose is so cute. She just learned that today. I was holding my nose and saying, "shoo wee," and she started doing the same thing. It's amazing how fast they learn. Their little brains are like sponges. The girls start Mother's Day Out on Monday. I am beside myself with joy. I hope that doesn't sound too bad but I am ready for a break and some ME time. I dearly love my children but I totally understand why people say stay at home moms have the hardest job. But it is worth every dirty diaper, every whiny child, every hug and kiss, every smile, every frown, all the food flying, all the extra work, all the time, and all the love to stay at home with my two precious girls. Well enough of my babble I am tired and must get to bed. Goodbye!

little Swimmers

Here are a few more photos from Sun. The first two pictures are when we first put them in the pool. They wouldn't let go of their watermelon as you can see. They loved swimming and had a blast. They slept through the night and even slept til 7:45 the next morning. They were wore out. This is a short post because I have a lot to do tonight. Thanks for looking.
