Fun in the Square
They loved the water fountain and picking the flowers. I couldn't get them to stop picking the flowers. Finally, I deterred them with the water fountain.
They would pick up all kinds of things off the ground, especially Presley, she is my scavenger. She loves to stop in mid walk to pick things up. That is great for momma because I have time to get Brooke who is the one that runs everywhere she goes and tends to fall a lot because she is in a hurry and doesn't take her time. But all in all they did great. I would take them again because there was a lot to keep their attention in a small space. They didn't wander off too far. They both loved the cows. They would go up to them and say aghhh! and give them a hug. I will post Presley's cow pic because blogger wouldn't let me post any more pics on this post. We originally went so momma could get some new dress pants because I am still an 8 (I know it sounds like I am bragging but, I am) and have no dress pants that fit. I have to attend the Dental Convention next weekend. I haven't started my diet but I still haven't gained anymore weight. I think I would like to get to a size 6 and hopefully stay there. They did not want to shop today. I went in picked out 2 pairs of pants tried them on and paid for the 1 pair and we were on our way so they could be outside. They love being outside right now. When someone goes out the door they stand by it and cry because, guess what, they want ot GO OUTSIDE.
I have been doing some trainings and Grandma comes to watch the girls. (Thank You Pat)
It is nice to get out and easier than staying home and doing the momma thing. Don't get me wrong I am so thankful to spend the time with my wonderful children but it really does wear me out. Those who say, "stay at home moms have the hardest job" are so right I can vouch for it.
I don't ever remember being as tired as I have been lately, when I worked. even when I worked all my parttime jobs. Enough about me.
Brooke has started stomping her feet when she doesn't get her way and Presley throws her head back and she doesn't care where she is so, it usually involves a bump on the noggin.
I started reading a book on discipline so I can handle my children and so they grow up respectful and not brats. I may look back at this and laugh someday. But hopefully not. Brooke also will take toys and even Presley's sippy away from her. I am working on her with this issue. She is a little Bully. Presley sees her coming and will sometimes hand over whatever she has to Brooke.(so sad). Presley is learning, I do see her push Brooke sometimes. She needs to learn to defend herself from her sister.
I do have to say that they play very well together and it does allow me to get some things done.
I have been doing some of my cleaning a little each day. But I sure do miss my maid. I know I am spoiled but I will give up doing other stuff to have my maid. I never realized how much I love her until she is gone. She will be back in Feb. (I hope).
Back to the pictures. I love the two where they are looking down at their flowers they just illegally picked. Some of the pictures the lighting is not good or the sun is in the wrong spot but It is hard to make them stand where I don't have hot spots. But I still like the pics because, of course, they are of my children and my precious memories. Whew what a long post. I guess that is what I get for waiting too long to post. Have a wonderful weekend.

My Little Bunny
Hello,
The girls received these towels for Christmas. Presley loved hers
. She was so precious she walked around with a big smile and was laughing her little fake laugh. I do have to say she was adorable. Brooke would not leave hers on, her towel is a cat. Of course, she was the one that wouldn't leave her hat on either when I had their one year pics done. Brooke kept pulling the towel off of Presley, as you see in the photo. She is such a bully.
Presley is cutting three new teeth and I have a feeling Brooke will be cutting more soon. I will be so glad when they get their back teeth so I don't have to watch what I give them. It is really hard at this stage because I feel like I give them the same foods. I have been changing it up some. I am trying to give them fresh instead of canned vegetables. Presley is my good eater she will eat anything, even lima beans and beets. Brooke likes her fruits and vegetables and doesn't care as much for meats. I did give them fish today and they both loved it. That makes me feel a little better.
Gary and I took the girls to the park on Saturday and I am a bad mommy because I forgot my camera. They had a ball. They loved the baby swings. Brooke had so much fun she didn't want to leave. She cried all the way to the store. She was so upset. She loves to be outside. She is the one that is going to wear me out.
The girls moved up to the Toddlers class at Church on Sunday. They really love going to church, so far they haven't cried. Praise God!
Well, I am caught up from not posting. It is harder to post these days so please forgive me and bear with me.

Good Food and Friends
Here are some of the pics I promised. This is the same group that is invited every year to New Years Day dinner. It is so much fun to see the children interact. We don't get to see everyone too often because we live all over the Metroplex so it is hard to get together. Thank you Carole for making such a great meal. It was all so wonderful and Gary thought it was the best kraut he has ever had. Carole is from Pennsylvania and they have sauerkraut for Good Luck instead of black-eyed-peas.
Hey, it works for me I'll have anything to bring me luck in the coming year. Oh my goodness, Brooke and Presley must have played really hard last night because they slept until 8:00 this morning (they never sleep that late) It was rather nice but it threw me off today because I am use to getting started earlier. I must be a creature of habit. I just realized I didn't crop the picture with the girls, too bad I am too tired to fix it. I just finished mopping and cleaning because my maid had surgery today and will be out for 4 weeks. (Ugh!) It will be the longest 4 weeks. I am trying to stay on top of it and do a little each day so it's not so much because I have to do most of it when the girls go to bed. So, speaking of bed I am tired and headed there myself. Goodnight.

New Red Wagon
Here are some cute pictures of Brooke and Presley in their new wagon. They like taking a ride in their wagon.
They love to go outside now. If they see one of us putting on a jacket or grabbing our keys they know we are leaving. Brooke will run to the door and start to cry because she wants to go. I guess that is my fault for taking them out so much. Oh well!
I had a fun time at Ten Seconds today. It was really relaxing. Gary said the girls were good. Thank goodness for that because it makes it easier for me to get out again. As soon as I got home we left for a New Year's Dinner. It was great to see everyone and their children. It is amazing how big all the kids are getting. We took some group photos. I will post those tomorrow. I am tired and going to bed. I hope everyone had a safe New Year. My New Year's Resolution is to get back on my diet, start working out at the gym, have more patience with my husband, and get closer to God.
Good Night!

Two Sets Of Twins
Whew! I can breathe now. I am glad the holidays are almost over. The girls had a blast but now it is back to our normal routine. Josh and Clay came over on Christmas Eve so we could exchange presents. This was the only picture I got of all four of them. They are just so adorable. I hope they will always play nice and like each other. We plan on taking vacations together which I think willl be so fun.
The other picture is of Brooke and Presley in a chest in which is now removed from the living room because they were both standing up on it at the same time. It was an accident waiting to happen.
Have I mentioned my house looks like a daycare? It does, and it is already driving me crazy. The girls got a lot of big stuff
for Christmas and no where to put it, but in the living room. I need a play room. I guess it will be a while before I get a play room.
We are going to a friends parents house tomorrow for New Years Day dinner. It will be good to see everyone. The girls are going to wear those same little red dresses. I have to get as much wear out of them as I can. I bought them on sale for $17.00. If they didn't scream Christmas I could use them for Valentines day but I'll have to buy new ones for that and hopefully on sale. Little girls are so expensive but I love every minute of it.
Gary is letting me go to Ten Seconds Studio tomorrow to have some ME time. I am so excited. That's why I love him. He finally understands when I need to get away for a break.
Have a safe and Happy New Year. We are staying in tonight. I am so glad I don't think I could make it to twelve.

Christmas
Here are a few pictures for those of you waiting to see the girls. We had a great Christmas! I had Christmas Eve and Christmas at my house so it has been crazy. Presley and Brooke did really well with all the people. They loved what Santa brought them (Red Wagon, Picnic Table, and slide) among all the other presents. My house really looks like a day care with all the toys. Help, I need another room because we know I can't give up my scrapbook room. I will be cleaning out and putting things away to sale later. It drives me nuts to have so much stuff laying around. I know it's only for a short while and I should just chill but for an anal person it is really hard.
I have to train tomorrow so this will be a very short post. I have a ton of stuff to do before tomorrow. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year! Be Safe!

Sweeties
Whew! I can come up and breathe now. I have been so busy with the holiday rush and all
, I haven't been able to post. Here are a few photos of my sweet angels. I can't wait until Christmas to see them open their presents they will be so cute. They love packages and boxes. I have wrapped everything I can. We are having Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at our house. It is so much easier with the girls to be at their own home.
Gary and I are going to a Christmas Party tonight and much needed time away. Oh date night. We have to get up and go to church tomorrow because the times on Christmas Eve don't work with the girls schedules.
I must go and give the girls a bath and then get myself ready to Paartyy!!!

Naked
I was getting them ready for a bath last night and after I undressed Presley, she took off running. I decided it wasn't worth the battle so I undressed Brooke and she went to see what Presley was doing. I ran to get my camera because I realized I have no naked butt pictures (which I love). Can you believe that I haven't taken .We are going to Target today since it isn't raining. We need to get out of the house. I have to get some Christmas presents and NO, I am not finished. I have to go so I can put the girls down for a nap so I can get some things done.

Ahhh Sweet Girls
They were so cute when they woke up this morning and saw the "Pretty Tree," that is what I say to the girls. They just stared at it and of course tried to reach in for ornaments but were unable to reach anything. Yeah! for the gate, it worked. I still laugh at it though, it reminds me of a tree at the mall, all fenced off so no one will touch it. It's like it is a prized possession. I must get and start making the girls lunch. They will be getting hungry soon. Have a great day!
