Me and my table mates. I couldn't resist being silly.
Brenda and I. Such a special friend.
It was another fun scrapbook weekend. I started my second blog book and just had fun. Of course I ate too much and had some great laughs. I always cherish this time with these girls and look forward to it twice a year. I didn't get as much done because I was having some pain on my left side and thought it was my ovaries. I started feeling yucky on Sunday evening and it continued on Monday. Brooke was at home sick and I took her to the doctor Monday afternoon, by that time, I was having some severe pain and decided I needed to go to the ER. I dropped Brooke off at home and headed to the ER. I was diagnosed with diverticulitis again. They gave me IV antibiotics and sent me home with more prescriptions. I was in bed all day on Tuesday and am better today but still not myself. I have this issue every 6-7 months. I need surgery but am putting it off because it is a major surgery. But I may need to have it sooner than later.
Send some healing prayers my way.

Scrapbook Retreat

We had a fabulous time on the retreat. All the costumes were great. We were the Flinstones, I was Fred because they said I was the loudest and of course I couldn't argue with that one. I think My Yabba Dabba Do was pretty good and loud.  I worked on my pumpkins for the Grandparents Day Breakfast at school. I started my blog book finally, thanks to Cari for helping me get started.
The Rangers are going to the World Series! First time ever. It is so exciting for baseball fans. Go Rangers!
We watched the game and most eyes were glued to the TV. I will remember this time always and what a great group of girls to share in the celebration. We all know I love the Happy.
