The girls were angels in the Epiphany Pagent and were darn cute angels. Presley wasn't paying attention at one point and all the other angels had walked away to sit down and she was the lone angel in her own little world and then she realized she was standing all by herself. The look on her face was so adorable. It mad me laugh at my sweet littl "P." Brooke couldn't sit still and her wings came off and someone had to fix her wings during the pagent. Baby Jesus was Mrs. Benefiel's baby and the girls were so thrilled to meet baby Kale. Mrs. Benefiel is one of the girls teachers so that really made it all so special. The service was great and the girls were really excited about being angels as well as getting to eat cake at the reception afterwards. Presley had two pieces of cake and Brooke stood in line and waited for a piece of cake that had brown icing on it. It just made me smile at her little quirks.
The term epiphany means "to show" or "to make known" or even "to reveal." In Western churches, it remembers the coming of the wise men bringing gifts to visit the Christ child, who by so doing "reveal" Jesus to the world as Lord and King.
