We went to the Pumpkin Patch on Friday and the weather ended up being beautiful once the sun came out but I was hoping that the sun would stay hidden just a little while longer because we all know a hazy day is better for photos. I think the pictures came out great and as you can see I got some awesome ones of my girls.
They were really fun this year, I think their age had a lot to do with it. They are really coming into their own. Brooke is a ball of fire right now and Presley is starting to become a little shy. They have once again switched roles. They both had to inspect every inch of Pumpkin Patch. I loved watching them run from on thing to the next. We did the corn maze and Brooke started crying because she didn't think we were going to get out. The girls were so excited to see Baby Hunter and Katlynn. It was a great day spent with nature and family.
They were in their room the other day and I heard them saying, "Trust in the Lord and do good." It melted my heart and made me feel so proud that they are speaking of the Lord at such a young age. I want that for my children. I want them to know that trusting the Lord is where you want to be, no matter what age.
Brooke is such the helper at school and home. Mrs. Barbara told me that she helped get the nap mats out one day and was such a big help, she even mentioned how neat and every blanket had to be in its place. So sweet, that is my little Brookie. Brooke absolutely loves everything babies, real and play.
Presley loves anything crafty. Mrs. Barbara told me that Presley doesn't like to stop doing most projects, so sometimes she will let her do two projects. She will be my little scrapbooker right along with mommy. She still throws her little fits when things don't go her way but those little fits have improved. But hoping we can put an end to them forever. Presley enjoys being loved and cuddled. Brooke enjoys it as well but has to be on her terms.
We had professional pictures done today and they both did great. I can't wait to see the proofs. It was a little sad because I realized my little girls are growing up. I love you Brooke and Presley and enjoy every minute I spend with you. Thank you Lord for such a sweet sweet blessing.
