Lets Art Party

Rita and I bought a Living Social for Lets Art Party. It was a fun night and I was so surprised at how easy it was to paint a painting. The best part was drinking wine while creating. A special time with a special friend.

I would definitely do this again but it would be a blast with a group of people.

Rally Sunday

   Rally Sunday 2011

We attended St Vincent’s Church on Sunday for Rally Sunday. This is a day where the church and school come together.  The preschool classes sang a song. On the way to church Presley informed me that the teacher keeps telling Brooke not to yell while she is singing but Brooke keeps yelling. :)  I told Presley that Brooke isn’t yelling she just likes to sing loudly. Sisterly love isn’t it adorable!

My little girls are growing up way too fast.

More Birthday Fun

DSC01539 DSC01540_edited-1   DSC01543_edited-1DSC01547_edited-1

We met The Mathis Family at the Grease Monkey (friends new restaurant) for more birthday celebrating.  The kids played Go Fish while we waited on our food. The food took a long time because their fryers were not working. The kids were exceptionally good even though they were starving. We loved the atmosphere but they need to get the food out faster for our hungry munchkins. It is always a good time when you spend your birthday with friends. Daddy missed out on the fun because he was in New York for business.

Rita left the cupcakes at home so made a special trip on Saturday morning to bring the cupcakes. Such a great friend and the cupcakes were yummy.

Happy Birthday Mom!

I have always loved my birthday and I will until the day I die. I love it even more now that I can celebrate it with my children. They love to sing the Happy Birthday song. But most of all they love that they get to eat cupcakes afterwards. Presley could not wait to tell me what they got me and she happen to mention it to me and Brooke overheard her and reminded Presley it was a secret. They are so precious and I love them more each day.

A Day To Remeber

Sepetember 11, 2001 a day of terror, a day that changed the world forever.
I will never forget the loss, but will always remember the courage of the first responders.
I remember the sick feeling I had in my stomach as I watched the horrific act against the United States and wonder why and how any human could follow through with such a dispicable act. My prayer today is for the families who lost loved ones that have to reinact that horrible day. It has been ten years and we are a much stronger country. God Bless America!

Michelle and Rita organized the scavenger hunt. The kids were given a phone to take pictures of the items on their list. They had to come up with their own team name. They all found the items but the team to finish first ended up winning the hunt. Which was the Matadors. It was so fun to watch all of them running around like crazy taking pictures. We decided next time we will have more items because they finished way too fast.  I love that we have a great group of friends and that we have so much fun together. We had a Corn Hole tournament and I think that was  the most fun I have had in a long time. Lots of laughs and  trash talk during the tournament. These sweet friends of mine hold a special place in my heart, they are the kind of people you want to always stay close to and grow old together.

Birthday Boy

We went to Babes for lunch, the food was great and the kids loved hanging out and acting a little silly. While waiting for our tables we even had time to break out the “Hokey Pokey.” I was able to take some pictures of all the families. Ryan made the perfect chicken and enjoyed all the attention he received. Once again another fun time with such amazing friends.
