Indian Princess Family Camp Out

We had a Soccer Tournament followed by lunch with Coach David and his family. The girls enjoy spending time with Bella and Olivia.
Then we headed out to the Indian Princess Family Camp Out. We didn't camp but we joined in the festivites. They had their big ceremony to change The Chief not sure what they call it. It was fun to see waht they come and do when they attend these camp outs. The girls were so excited. They ate smores, well if you call it eating smores when they eat all the parts seperately. Neither one of them like to put them together. I don't understand it, oh well. I think the highlight of the evening was swinging on a tree swing. It was a fun time and we will definitely have to make plans to camp out next year.

Little Secrets

I was putting the girls down and Brooke wanted to tell me a secret so I bent down so she could whisper in my ear. She said, Thank you mom for all you do for me, I love you and that was followed by a big hug and a kiss. I love that girl to pieces she definitely knows the way to my heart.
So then Presley had to tell me a secret and she said, You're the best mom ever and I love you this much as she held her hands as far as they would reach. This makes motherhood the best job ever. Those two little girls rock my world with their sweet little secrets.

Happiest Mother Ever!

It was a good day. It started out with breakfast made by my wonderful husband and daughters. Presley was so excited to tell me she helped make breakfast with daddy. I cleaned and did laundry while daddy took the girls to run some errands. I then took a nap with Brooke and loved every minute of it. Mimi and Poppy came over and daddy made steaks. It was a great family day and the girls were precious today. As I was putting the girls to bed Brooke said mommy I have to tell you something, and she asked me to come to her bed. She reached up and gave me a big hug and a kiss and said, Happy Mother's Day, I love you! At that moment my heart was full. Those girls mean the world to me and I feel so lucky to be their mother. We missed calling Yaya this year. I know she was looking down on us and smiling. We love and miss you Yaya.

Happy Birthday Lauren!

We got invited to two birthday parties on Saturday at the same time. I had the girls choose which party they wanted to attend and they chose Lauren's Skating Party. They really enjoyed themselves. We haven't been skating in so long because of soccer. Brooke wanted a walker to skate with and I told her "No" because she knows how to skate and she needed to let the people that didn't know how to skate use them. She wasn't happy but got over it really quick. I made this canvas at the last minute for Lauren. I have been taking an online class and decided to use what I had just learned and add to Lauren's gift. In this picture the face looks blue, I fixed it and didn't have time to take another photo. I like the way it turned out and hope she enjoys it. Happy Birthday Lauren and thanks for including us on your 6th birthday.

Field Day was so much fun for the girls. They were on the red team and we renamed them the Red Hots. we would shout "Red Hot, Red Hot." The kids really enjoyed letting everyone know their team name. The first thing they did was eat popsicles. I think every child had a smile on their face. Next we did the bean bag toss and then water balloon toss. Brooke's balloon broke and got her wet and she was not happy to be wet. She was pouting and wanted to change her shirt. Yes, I got a pouty picture and have already showed her the picture. She smiled when she saw it.  I wish I knew what was going through her mind when she looked at that picture. The look on her face was priceless.
They did dress up and sponge relays, egg races, and played simon says. It was fun to see the girls interact with their classmates. It was another successful and fun field day. Thank you lord for allowing me to be there with my children for these special days.

Soccer Party

Wednesday was a busy day after school. The girls had Kid Stage and then we went to the end of season soccer party at the park. The girls enjoyed pizza and cupcakes and loved playing with their friends. They loved the trophies because the little soccer ball on top spins around. Presley thought that was the best thing.
I made the card for Coach David and we all pitched in and gave them a giftcard to JR'S Grill.
It was a good season and the girls definitely improved from last season. I will miss watching them play.
