Kaitlynn

We had an overnight visitor this weekend. Kaitlynn. The girls loved having her around. We colored Easter Eggs, went shopping, went to Gymboree, went to workout, played outside, went to an Easter party, and went to a birthday party. It was a fun weekend for the girls. I think Kaitlynn got a little bored at times but I think she enjoyed herself. Thanks Kaitlynn for helping us out and playing with the girls. Kaitlynn lives in Oklahoma. She teased Gary all weekend with her OU hat so we had to get a picture of the girls with the hat on, just for Gary. Of course, Brooke wouldn't leave hers on as usual. Gotta go more pictures later.

All Of Us

Here are some cute photos of the family. Those are rare because we never have anyone to take them. I should use my tripod more often but that takes time and that I am shy of lately. I love the one of Daddy and the girls. These are their Easter dresses with sweaters because you never know what the weather will be in Texas especially on Easter. Last year it was so cold. I remember I had to put turtle necks on the girls because it was so cold. I gotta go the girls need my attention. I will post more pics later.

Standing Tall

Happy St Patrick's Day!
Brooke has taught her sister how to stand up on the toys.
Presley sits back and soaks up everything Brooke does and then does it herself. Which is fine with some things but standing on the toys is not good because Presley isn't as coordinated as Brooke. If you notice in the picture Presley is on the very edge of the car and right next to the fireplace. My heart sank when I realized how close she was to possibly hurting herself. But of course I had to snap a picture before I grabbed her.
We had a busy weekend. I will post pics this week from our fun weekend.

Beautiful Day

Such a wonderful day to be outside. If it is a nice day we are outside. The girls will go to the door to let me know they want to go outside. They both can crawl up into the chairs that are outside. Presley has a harder time getting in the chair than Brooke. I have to help her get down though. She fell today and got a little bump on her head. Poor Presley, those little legs just don't move as fast for her.
Brooke as you can see, is into everything. She brought me both of Daddy's boots, too funny, and they are heavy. She is strong. The other day she picked up a ten pound weight I had in the garage. I guess we should clean out the garage.
I love the picture of Daddy and the girls. We need to take more pics of us in them. All the photos are of Brooke and Presley, probably because it is more fun to take their pictures and they are much cuter.
I better get in bed. Goodnight!

Precius Baby

We had another visitor. This time it was Aunt Kellie and Baby Peyton. He is so adorable.
The girls loved seeing a baby, especially Presley. She was so mesmerized with the little one.
They were really good with Peyton, they wanted to pat him. Presley even gave him a kiss.
Brooke was a little jealous but not too bad. Presley would make a great big sister but we know that won't be happening. Sorry Presley!
Brooke is really starting the terrible twos. I need to work on her, she takes things away from Presley and thinks it is okay (not). Last night at swim lessons Gary said, "she was a booger." She was running around and getting into everyone's stuff and Gary would tell her, "no" and she would throw a fit and cry. She definitely needs special attention. Poor daddy, he was wore out last night and a little embarassed. All in all it was a fun day.
The girls slept later this morning. (yeah) I gotta go. Have a great day.

Baby Card

I made this card for the baby shower I attended. This was the perfect card for who I was giving it to.
Paper: Blue Bayou, Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery
Stamps: Cowboy Kid (retired), and Plaid Background
Sentiment: Made with my Cricut, font Opposites
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Black, and True Thyme
I colored the cowboy in with Gamsol and Prisma color pecils.
I also used my white gel pen on the paisley background.
I really liked the way it turned out. I am a little rusty. As I look at the card I feel like
I should have matted it with more colors. Oh well!

Snowy Day

Look at Presley's big smile on her face. She was so cute and she loved the snow. She kept smiling the whole time we were outside. My little cutie patootie! Notice she is wearing her mittens, like a good girl. Brooke on the other hand is already not happy because she has fallen and her hands are cold. She got up and walked around for a little bit but as you can see in the other picture her little paws are cold. Poor Brookie, I don't think she cared too much for the snow after she got cold. She didn't even care about the neighbors snowmen. She came running over to me and wanted me to hold her. Yes, you guessed it our little snow play was over because Brooke wanted nothing more to do with the snow.
Presley on the other hand could have stayed out much longer. She kept touching the snow and just had this look of amazement on her face, as well as the permanent smile. It was so worth the trouble of getting them dressed to see their reaction.
I went to a baby shower today and it was so neat to see all the cute stuff. It really made me think back to my experience and to think my girls are no longer babies, they are toddlers and can I tell you, they are starting to act like toddlers. We are starting to have little crying fits. They are no fun, trust me. I hope this phase ends soon. I love those little girls with all my heart and will cherish every moment good or bad.
Goodnight!!!

First Snow

I just had to get the girls dressed this morning so they could see the snow. I took the first one without their little hats and mittens. Brooke would not let me put her mittens on so I have a picture of her crying and holding her hands out. I will post it tomorrow. We took the other photo by the neighbors snowmen. They were so cute. Presley loved touching the snow. Brooke was not liking it so much once she fell and her hands got cold. We were not out long but well worth the photos. Gotta go the girls are napping and I must get things done. Sorry for the short post but all I have time for these days.

Fun Times

Well, it's been awhile since I have posted. I am so out of practice. After my computer crashed I kind of got out of the habit of posting. I know can you believ it. I am still having some issues so I try not to be on my computer as much. I still need to load my photo software. I have been so lazy when it comes to my computer and never mind that the girls are keeping me busy and tired lately.
I enrolled them in Mother's Day Out and can't wait til June 2, which is their first day. They will go on Mon and Fri. Yahoo!!!
Brooke loves to push her babies around in the stroller Aunt Kellie bought her. She also gets mad at the stroller when things don't go her way. Presley loves to brush her teeth and yes, it has everything to do with her teething. She will chew on that toothbrush all day if I let her. They both are cutting 6 teeth all at once. Poor babies!
I will try to be better at posting for those of you who frequent my blog.
I gotta go and get ready for the maid. She is back after surgery and I am so grateful.
Goodnight!
