Gabby Scrappers Retreat!

Gabby Scrappers Retreat was this weekend. I gave up my spot to save money but last minute someone cancelled and I was back on the list and able to go. Thanks honey for letting me spend time with the girls.

Brenda and I practiced our Photography class we had taken on Thursday. I have been shooting on Manual and am loving it. My pictures are improving by the shot.

Brenda got a new remote for her camera and we had a lot of fun with it. I will be going to buy me one of those sweet little remotes this week.

These are a few of the pictures with the trusty remote and as you can see we were having fun. Great pictures Brenda and great fun. We make a great pair. We were getting ready for our group picture.

Meet my newest Halloween decoration. Sorry Connie but she was too darn cute to pass up. She looks precious on my mantle.

It was another wonderful weekend with such awesome women.

Thanks Brenda for all your picture taking with your new remote. I don’t know what we would have done without it. Lol!

Pumpkin Patch

We met the Hays Family at the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday afternoon. My plan was to get there early to take pictures of the girls but Michelle, Bella and Olivia beat us. These were the pictures that I got and it was not easy with four kids. I was practicing shooting on manual and got a little lost trying to figure it out and get there attention so these were shot on aperture and I did have to edit these a little.

We took a hay ride and fed the cows and donkey’s and the pictures were straight out of the camera and shot on manual. I am so excited that I am finally getting the manual thing. It only took a few years. I am taking a photography class on Wednesday and am trying to practice so if I have any questions.

Once we got to where the cows were they came running, they knew we were going to feed them. We fed them bread and let me tell you they love it. There tongues are long and they slobber on you when they are taking the bread from you. It is funny to watch. Check out the cow Presley is feeding, I was surprised she wasn’t afraid.

Now off to feed the donkeys. The donkeys love the attention and there tongue stays in their mouth.

They all had so much fun and it was great to experience this fun time with friends. We had Kettle Corn and Grilled Corn on the Cob and they were both yummy. We also did the Maze and made it through with no mishaps. We went to watch the Ranger game at Michelle’s and they won 15 to 5, Way to go Rangers! World Series bound for the second year in a row. Go Rangers!
