New Clothes

I bought theses new clothes the other day and Presley could not wait to wear them. I thought they were too cute and had to show them off. Prelsey's head band was one of my purchases on my girls trip. Doesn't she look adorable. I love it becuse it keeps her bangs out of her eyes. I will be glad when they grow out. Her hair grows so slow. After I looked at this photo I had to wipe down my fireplace because the finger prints were awful in the picture.

Girls Weekend In Glenrose

I had my annual girls trip over the weekend. We never thought we would make because of the snow. We were scheduled to leave on Friday. But we were not going to let a little snow stop us. We decided we would all ride together and that we did. Keri drove around the Metroples and picked everyone up. We were all so glad we decided to make the trip because the snow did start to melt and we made it. We talked, ate, shopped, laughed, and we all bought a pair of cowboy boots. Wait I forgot to mention we bought the same pair of boots. It was such a great deal we couldn't pass it up. I'm sure the girls in the boot store thought we were all nuts or dorks for buying the same boots. We didn't care we were all happy and after all isn't that all that matters. It was such a great weekend and so glad we braved the weather because it ended up being a great one. Gary was glad I was home in time for him to watch the Super Bowl. I was glad to get home and see the girls.

Snow and More Snow

I took so many snow pictures that I had to post all my favorites. Plus I had to show the pictures of the snowman that Prelsey and Daddy worked so hard to make. Brooke still didn't care about the snowman but she did care about eating the snow. Presley was so proud that she could carry her big snow ball. They were so cute in their own little way.

It Snowed Again

This snow was a much better snow. The girls couldn't wait to get outside to play in it. Daddy decided they needed snow pants, so he ventured out and found some snow pants. The girls rolled around in the snow and were definitely much warmer. Presley was on a mission to build a snowman. She began rolling a snowball and rolled it and rolled it. She is so determined and once she puts her mind to something she doesn't give up until it's done. I love that about her. Brooke found a little red ball and wouldn't put it down. She laid in the snow and rolled around and played with the ball and was in her own little world. She wanted no part of making the snowman. She wants to do what she wants to do and on her terms. Presley was so proud of her snowball. Brooke rode her 4 wheeler for a while and was back to playing with the red ball. She was too cute and didn't want to be bothered even when I took her picture.

Silly Brooke

I love these pictures of Brooke. She was acting so silly with her scarf when we came in from playing in the snow yesterday.I can't believe she let me take pictures of her. She is the one that turns her head  when she sees my camera. I have to bribe her sometimes. Little toot!
We braved the weather and went to the Rodeo tonight. The roads still had some icy patches in areas but we were careful and drove slow. I didn't bring my camera, I needed a break from taking pictures tonight. Plus it was too cold to worry with something else. We asked the girls to tell us their favorite part of the Rodeo.
Brooke liked when a cowboy fell off the horse. Really! My compassionate Brooke liked that someone could have been hurt. She surprises me sometimes. Prelsey said the cows. She means the calf roping. My favorite was the bull riding. I have a whole new respect for rodeo people. I have changed. I am digging country music lately and I enjoyed the Rodeo. What has gotten into me. Must be, getting older has made me appreciate different things. Oh well, it was a great family outing and we were so glad to get out of the house. By the way school is closed again tomorrow. The roads are not bad. Do you hear me school districts? The roads are not BAD!

Snow Day

We finally had a snow day and the girls couldn't wait to make snow angels. That was the first thing they did when they got outside. It was hard crunchy snow because it had ice mixed in with it. It wasn't a good snow and they didn't understand why they couldn't make a snowman. It was so cold and windy at one point the girls had to cover their faces because the wind was blowing so hard. They both said at different times that it was so cold. Brooke dug in the snow for a little while and they both ate some snow. We walked to the back yard and then the front yard and played for about 20 minutes and that was all they could handle. Bailey was loving the snow as much as the girls were but they were all ready to go in where it was warm. We have another snow day tomorrow we already received the phone call that school was closed. What are we going to do tomorrow? We made their Valentine's Day cards today. I guess we can put them together tomorrow. Snow days are good for gettting projects done. It was a great day off from school I hope tomorrow is as good as today but for some reason I think tomorrow they are going to be stir crazy. Praying for a good day tomorrow.
