Easter at Papaw’s is always fun because there is so much to do. We started out the visit by hunting eggs and you can never go wrong with eggs full of candy in a child’s eyes.
Then we went to the catfish pond to feed the catfish and fish a little while.
Brooke left with uncle Freddy and he let her drive. I know she was in heaven, if you look closely you can see her waving and the biggest smile on her face.
Daddy and Papaw caught some fish. I think daddy won for the biggest. The competition was fierce and there was definitely some smack talk.
The girls spent some time in the garden and caught some baby frogs and named all of them. The leader was Leopard but he got away. He was one smart frog. Presley and Alexya spent most of their time catching the frogs. I swear there was about twenty in the container. They really enjoy the great outdoors and what it has to offer them. So glad they are not afraid to get dirty.
We came straight from another Easter party and their face painting is slowly wearing off. It was a great day and spending it with family always makes it more enjoyable.
