Santa and His Reindeer

When we saw Santa last weekend he let us know he would be in Dallas and would have two of his reindeer. Comet and Cupid blessed us with their presence. Cupid was a little testy and didn’t like when anyone got close to the fence. The girls thought it was neat that they got to see some reindeer. Cupid was the lighter one and Comet was the dark brown reindeer.

While we were waiting in line for Santa, they had a lot of hats sitting on the table and Presley started trying them on all by herself. Brooke quickly followed suit. They were just so precious and made me laugh.

The girls were a little disappointed last weekend when they saw Santa because they realized they forgot to ask him for a sleeping bag. So they were relieved when I told them we would be seeing Santa again. So they both asked for an American Girl Doll and a sleeping bag. We got some cute pictures with Santa and the girls were happy they got a sucker. The Mathis family met us and they all had a fun time.

They had an awesome tree so we had to get some pictures by the tree of the four of them. They were so cute and loved climbing on the big ornaments and presents.

Last was a trip to Baskin Robbins for ice cream. What a way to end our time with our friends.

We had a busy Saturday. We started our morning with a birthday party. We then headed to Dallas to see Santa and spend some time with Clay and Josh. Then we headed to the American Girl store so the girls could pick out the doll they want Santa to bring. I had never been in that store and it is a big store. You can have lunch with your doll and you can even bring your doll in to have her hair fixed or her ears pierced. Someone even told me you can send your doll to the hospital. Man how times have changed and I am glad I can experience these little things with them.
